Had lunch at this lovely unassuming restaurant. Food is amazing, I had mussels and sea bass and both were super fresh and delicious. The service was impeccable and friendly. Visited here tonight as staying at a hotel not far away. Greene King pubs have a NGCI menu which is manageable for me as a silent coeliac. Tonight though, whilst away from home, it just made all the difference to me that as I ordered, the lady being the bar immediately explained to me that NGCI was not the same as Gluten-free and although they'd do their best, they could not guarantee against cross-contamination. It just reassured me to hear that she has that knowledge. And my gammon steak was delicious 🙂

A lovely family friendly and dog friendly pub. We booked a group of 17 people with some gluten intolerances and dairy intolerances for Easter Sunday lunch. The food came promptly, everyone had good options to eat and all the staff were helpful friendly and easy going. We were there for much of the afternoon. Loved the garden area and good parking.
