There were new planters for outside, creating a divide between them and other restaurants and this caused a problem for wheelchairs. However, staff were quick to come out with a ramp and an apology. Plenty of wheelchair space inside and accessible toilet. Great range of meals and a separate veggie/vegan and a gluten free one too.
It really is quality, tasty food 😀.
The prices were very reasonable and there were great choices available.
Nothing was a problem for the waitress, she was very pleasant and good at her job.
The main draw for coming here was the gluten free options. Practically everything can be made for GF requirements which is bloody fantastic for us, thank you.
The oinion rings and buffalo wings were amazing ans were the burgers and fries.
I need to give them at least4 stars based on the fact that they have home made gluten free pizza dough, when so many places use store bought ones. This is a VERY BIG deal! The toppings were very fresh and authentic. The staff were also very helpful over the phone.
Several of the pizzas on the menu can be made gluten free if you order accordingly ad well as the fries which are very light and fluffy ! Although they are a bit pricey at 5£ per portion.
Blown away by this little gem!
I had spotted this place on find me gluten free and after seeing all the positive reviews decided to give it a try. The atmosphere on walking in was lovely and we was greeted by a lovely gentleman at the door who we later got chatting to called Yohan.
I was amazed by the insane amount of gluten free options on the menu, never have I been to a restaurant where you can order gluten free lasagne, so of course that’s what I got, I also shared a gluten free garlic bread with my husband and had the caprise starter, my husband had the calamari and seafood linguine!! Now when I say this food was on another level… the lasagne was perfect, the gluten free garlic bread wasn’t like your normal frisbee type gluten free rubbish you get in most places you could literally tell the dough had been freshly made!! My husband absolutely loved his and honestly there wasn’t a single thing we could fault!! Special thanks to the lovely gentleman yohan he genuinely was the most loveliest person and you can tell he really cares about his customers and takes an interest in the people he is serving! I will most definitely be back..
The slightly more grown up version of the lounges chain of bars, with designated drinking and dining areas and slightly posher food and cocktail menus. They have offers on the cocktails Sun-Fri 4-9 which makes them a great price at 2 for £13.50 (you can have two different ones compared to some places where offers are for two of the same).
They have a good selection of gluten free, veggie and vegan options on the menu and are open for breakfast too. You can prebook or just turn up, but there might be a wait if it's busy.
The quality of the food was excellent and we were amazed by the amount of gluten free options available as my partner is coeliac. A very hospitable and enjoyable atmosphere with friendly staff whose service was second to none. I will definitely be recommending your restaurant to my family and friendsI’m
Best gluten free and vegan option. We are vegan and we know we will find great options. My spouse is coeliac and we always enjoy eating extremely tasty food. We had the green pho soup-delicious and the lunch special with the curry dish-delicious too. Shirley and Rory were our helpful and friendly servers today.
I had picked our hotel in Liverpool for a long weekend break partly due to it's proximity to the Free State Kitchen and it's rave reviews. So relieved it did not disappoint.
Had the double French Onion burger which was the best burger I've had in my life (with some tough competition in the US and Spain), which is extra difficult these days as I developed Coeliac disease in the last few years. My wife had the Macaroni Cheese which was good, but also the Chocolate Brownie which was (also) the best she's ever had.
So fantastic and refreshing to see food that is so often underrated in the UK as cheap fast food staples be prepared with fantastic ingredients by people who really care about what they are doing. Service was great as well.
When we're next back in Liverpool, this is now a mandatory stopover for us!
Really nice visit to this after a meander down Bold Street. The food was great - I ended up having their soup, and the latte was great too. Chilled vibes, and such a wide selection of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. Reasonably priced too, with local artists’ artwork on display for sale too.
Only downside is it’s two floors up via a staircase, so if you have limited mobility or are wheelchair bound, I’m not sure how you’d get there (unless there’s a lift I missed!)
Really recommend giving them a visit - roughly a 10 minute walk from the Lime Street station.
Absolutely outstanding. Wonderful service, staff and food. I love the atmosphere. I would say "french bistro". Definitely my type of place. I loved the fact that they couldn't do enough for my gluten free daughter. The supply of food and drink was so nice. And their gluten free menu is worth it. I will be coming back and bringing my family. Very good value for money.
Did the bottomless brunch, was 100% bottomless The drinks kept coming, got about 10 drinks in 90mins each :) service was 10/10 from Amy and Yanni, they also accommodated my gluten and dairy requirements, would recommend.
This was an excellent brunch!! Best we found in Europe. One of my best ever. Really delicious eggs Benedict and great for me that they have gluten free too. Everything seemed fresh. Busy place but still very good service. They deserve 6 or 7 stars!!
This cafe was so good that we went 3 days in a row while visiting Liverpool. Very tasty dishes, no matter what we ordered. Catered incredibly well for gluten intolerance. Really friendly and helpful staff, and nice atmosphere. I’ll miss those poached veggs!

We came yesterday to have a dinner in during visiting Liverpool.
Our waiter Cris was very attentive and friendly also had a good knowledge about menu ( vegan and gluten free).
My son was super happy with children portions.
And the cherry on top was delicious latte ( made by Marina ) I am very picky with coffee and very often weak coffee can destroy all nice experience in restaurant but not this time.
That was brilliant!
Along with the Bold Street branch, the best place to eat in Liverpool, hands down. The Albert Dock branch staff are particularly lovely. Caters for gluten and dairy free folk too.

If you love pie you'll love this place. If you're also celiac and love pie you will ADORE it!!
They went above and beyond to make me an incredible order during a very difficult pregnancy. I was struggling to find easy meals I could stomach and this was an absolute god send!! All the fillings are made with love and care. The fruit pies were my absolute favorite !! Delicious ! They were also incredibly helpful friendly and a pleasure to have met !! I could not thank them more!!
Beautiful italian. My husband had cannelloni and I had gluten free pizza. Both were delicious and it was reasonable too. There's a reason there's always a queue outside.Recommended!

We went to their Motown afternoon tea . The venue was beautifully decorated. Great atmosphere everyone singing alone and good entertainment.
They provided me with glutenfree alternative dietary requirements. They were just not as tasty. Perhaps a little more research here.
Bottomless tea made up for it !
Nice place to eat and happy it served gluten free food.. I particularly enjoyed the afternoon menu as there was more gluten free things on there like the pizza..
What a fantastic meal. We had the lunch deal. 2 course for £15 . The gluten-free menu is available, too. So tasty cooked on open coals. Wow, amazing to see.
This is a sensational place and, it seems, only getting better. Best views in town, an immensely friendly service, a varied wine list and top notch food. Our guest, who was allergic to gluten, couldn't have been better accommodated. The food we had - lots of it, thanks to the newly introduced idea of being able to have two starters rather than just the one - was consistently excellent. It's great to see Panoramic 34 at the top of its game. Thank you!
Been twice over this weekend. We to convention at M&S arena and tried Salt House Tapas. The staff Lauren and the Manager Lydia were amazing and very attentive with my intolerance to gluten and lactose. We went again Sunday and the staff were excellent.
A group of us went for a meal on Friday afternoon and from start to finish the service was excellent. Thankyou John (our server), he couldn't have done more. The food was excellent and as I have a gluten allergy even this wasn't a problem. It made a difference having a good choice of gluten free food and that it tasted great. All in all a great dining experience.
Used to be amazing but has really gone down hill
Was disappointed when they removed most of the veg options from the menu inc salsa and guac but still occasionally visited even as quality declined. Not anymore.
My most recent order included gluten free gravy and it was absolutely disgusting, I’d have preferred no gravy. It was a weird jelly like texture. Not edible.
Not sure if the issue was the temperature as the food was luke warm at best.
The cheese also was not great and wasn’t melted.
Felt like I was eating day old food.
My partner ordered regular gravy and was also unhappy with the quality of their food.
Won’t be returning, it’s just not worth the price even at the best of times.
Fabulous Pad Thai and Spring Rolls! I need to eat gluten free. The service was excellent and they are very knowledgable about Celiac and Gluten sensitivities. Plus the atmosphere and view was beautiful. My husband enjoyed his gluten laden fried rice!
Bundobust is pure joy! A vibrant celebration of Indian street food that delivers bold, explosive flavors alongside an effortlessly fun atmosphere. Beyond vegetarian and vegan, there's something exciting for everyone, with plenty of gluten-free options to round out the menu.
It's colorful, laid-back, and welcoming, making it the kind of place where you can settle in, take your time, and enjoy without feeling rushed. The dishes are packed with zing, spice, and creativity, each one a testament to how plant-based Indian food can be just as thrilling as its meat-heavy counterparts.
The Bundobust’s award-winning brewery elevates the experience with an impressive selection of beers, ales, and ciders. The genius "rack of thirds" lets you sample a trio—perfect if you can’t decide.
The only drawback? No vegan dessert option, which felt like a missed opportunity. But honestly, with everything else so knockout, it’s a small compromise in an otherwise stellar experience.
We went with a reservation and was placed upstairs. The inside is lovely with the American diner theme and the servers come around with the tea and coffee regularly. Unfortunately, this time around the service was very slow. We were seated for 15 minutes before we received a gluten free menu and then 10 minutes after that before we asked for drinks. We didn't have our food order taken until 40 minutes after being seated. The food was lovely as always and we had a vegan and a gluten free guest, there was plenty of options on the menu.
My partner & I visited a few days ago during a trip to Liverpool, and we’re so glad we found it! The food was fab, and the whole place was lovely. I am gluten free, and my partner is vegetarian, there were lots of options for us both. The portion sizes were great, and we both left saying it’s a shame we aren’t in Liverpool more often! Will definitely visit anytime we’re in the area
