One of my favorite spots in Zürich. 100% gluten free and many vegan and vegetarian options. So many delicious options. I love being able to eat the cookie that comes with coffee/tea too (a rarity for a celiac!)
Finally an ITALIAN restaurant, a nice place that tastes of Italy, of southern Italy, they speak Italian, the cuisine is truly Italian, the COFFEE is Italian, the chef, basically everything!
And finally for a celiac like me you have the certainty of eating everything safely without gluten: from the first to the second courses, and the pizzas, everything in total safety... They even brought me some gluten-free bread made by them, to say the least FANTASTIC.
For all the Italians looking for a piece of Italy in Zurich, this is the right place!
Rating 10!
Not only was the food absolutely incredible, the service was amazing! I’m celiac and had the scones, slice of cake and torte… it was heaven. The staff was so friendly and helpful and made the experience so much better!!! Definitely a highlight in our trip!
The pizza is not made in a seperate place and they don't take care of contamination. It's so sad because the pizza dough was sooo delicious. If they would take care of contamination it would be such an amazing place for celiac people. But wouldn't recommend if you're celiac. They don't really know what celiac is, they know about glutenfree but as I said they unfortunately don't consider contamination.
We had a relaxing lunch on the outdoor patio. It was a treat to know everything on the menu is gluten-free. My daughter with celiac loved the home-made chicken nuggets. The schnitzel was also good and the seasoned french fries. The mixed salad with house dressing was delicious, too, and they provided a small basket of GF bread that was also homemade and so tasty!
We were too full for dessert but want to go back for the GF Berliner.
One of the best GF pizzas I’ve had. I was a little nervous because it looked so “real” but it was gluten free and delicious! Have eaten here multiple times without issue
Very nice and atmospheric place. There were a lot of people and we have to wait a bit tonolace our order, but after the order the service was pretty good. The food was very delicious and nice served. A lot of vegetarian option and they can make gluten-free and vegan variations of almost every position in menu.
Definetely recommend this olace for big big companies.
We had high expectations, but were unfortunately disappointed by the long wait times – both when ordering and when receiving the pizzas. One pizza arrived about 10 minutes earlier than the others, meaning it was already cold by the time we all ate. The gluten-free pizza was particularly disappointing: the dough was tasteless and unsalted, and very greasy.
The restaurant's beautiful interior and pleasant terrace deserve special mention.
A constructive suggestion: To make the wait more pleasant, it would be helpful to at least serve breadsticks and take drinks orders right at the beginning.
I've been here a few times and they have really tasty GF pasta! They also have GF bread. And it's marked on the menu what's GF and what's not. Unfortunately they don't have pizza yet.
My favourite meal in Zurich that I have been dreaming of ever since!! Such great variety of gluten free options and building your bowl, and huge portion sizes too. Highly recommend!!
Hard to find, it's upstairs in the back of a building, up the stairs. Service was great and food was tasty. Our cups were dirty (lip marks from a previous user and dried liquid in the bottom) so we traded ours from another table to find clean ones 😱 But - their gluten free pizza was great for celiac.

Sometimes ugly ducklings surprise: the restaurant looks quite inconspicuous inside and out. Like a typical country inn. Inside you will be greeted by a facility whose 90s feeling is underlined with the right choice of music. It sometimes seems a bit old-fashioned and outdated.
"BUT": Everything else is absolutely great. Great food, nice service, good selection, fair prices. And what makes me personally very happy: gluten-free cordon bleu!
My wife has celiac disease and it can be really difficult to find a suitable restaurant.
The best dining experience in Switzerland!
Lots of healthy meal options!
Vegetarian food, as well as gluten-free and lactose-free meals available. All very tasty! A rarity in Switzerland!
Pleasant atmosphere, extremely clean, very friendly service!
Excellent value for money! I recommend it!
I have celiacs disease and their gluten free food was amazing and gave me no issues! I ordered the eggs Benedict and it was seriously 10/10. I also loved the coffee and even got a gluten free pastry. Definitely recommend this place for people with gluten intolerance!
We ate here tonight with my family of 5. It was delicious! Sat outside in the cute courtyard. Carolina was our waitress and she was wonderful. Made sure my daughter’s dish was gluten free and was super friendly. Food was wonderful and the entire staff were great. Would definitely go back!
I really enjoy the relaxed atmosphere in this cafe, along with delicious sandwiches. There are plenty of options for vegetarians, gluten-intolerant people, and meat lovers. The staff is always friendly and ready to help you with your choice!
I think it's great that someone is finally devoting themselves to gluten-free products. And we're convinced that Jackie's will take off once they refine the recipes.
Unfortunately, I have to admit that we're very disappointed at the moment. Only the (vanilla) Bundt cakes are unreservedly recommended. The nut cake and the Linzer are also okay. For the rest, there are even better frozen products in the area at much cheaper prices. The carrot cake is actually pretty inedible—it tastes like a lemon brick.
We bought a sampler for around 50 (!) francs, and the following is our conclusion:
- The biggest problem: Dough products like bread and cakes are far too dense, heavy, and contain far too much rice flour (at least in our opinion).
- The breads are as digestible as bricks.
- The confectionery, with the exception of the Bundt cakes, is unfortunately very disappointing: Neither the texture nor the taste are right. Often far too sweet, and sometimes with an almost chemical aftertaste.
- The prices are at least twice as high.
- The reason for the two stars: We were sold inedible, burnt lemon tarts. Things like that shouldn't even leave the bakery.
We'll gladly give Jackie's another chance, but regular retailers and some bakery chains in the area offer better products for less money.
Thanks, though, for the friendly service in the store. We felt very comfortable and hope to come back sometime and be convinced by better products.
Gluten-free carrot cake is amazing! It's so delicious and satisfying. I love how moist and flavorful it is, with just the right amount of sweetness. The texture is perfect too, not too dense or crumbly. It's definitely one of the best gluten-free cakes I've ever had. Highly recommend trying it if you're a carrot cake lover!
The best gluten free burger I’ve had in a long time!! Clear on the phone ordering system what could be made GF. Great quantity, great taste! Highly recommend!!
We ate super well, very healthy. They have plenty of gluten-free options. We were treated wonderfully. I was there with my partner after spending a few days on vacation in Zurich. I loved the summer roll, delicious. As a suggestion, I would say that it would be great if there were a gluten-free and vegan dessert at the same time (especially for those with intolerances). The place was very cozy and beautiful.
they use a product from "planted" which may contain gluten. i have told them many times, they still always say that the whole kitchen is glutenfree. they didnt seem to understand the importance of contamination.

Whatever I order at Hang's, it's always SOOOOO delicious! The fresh ingredients, the delicious sauces and marinades...every dish tastes so authentic and aromatic, I'm a huge fan 😃😍! The service is super friendly, the portion size is huge (take the leftovers home 🤩) and the price-performance ratio is unbeatable. It also has vegan and gluten-free options. Reservations are an advantage as the restaurant is very popular. ❤️
There was a great deal where you could choose two dishes of your choice for just 5CHF!
I chose a gluten-free cheeseburger and apple pie!
I tried this gluten-free option because it's not often seen in Japan, and it had a chewy texture and was super delicious!
It was filling and I'd love to eat it again👍🏻👍🏻
My friend eats gluten-free and has many other intolerances, but the staff took very good care of her and she left full and happy. She ordered pasta contadina with gluten-free penne and it was a really good choice.
I had a amatriciana and it really fulfilled my pasta cravings for the day.
This is already a second time i went to Santa Lucia and I can deffo recommend this place
Just so you know there is no gluten-free pizza option - i guess, this is due to regular flour being everywhere on the pizza station and they can't gurantee gluten-freeness.
Ciao.
We enjoyed a wonderful dinner in the Sporrer restaurant last night. The service is very nice and attentive, the food was very good. There are menus to choose from for vegetarians, meat eaters and those with gluten intolerance. We enjoyed a great non-alcoholic cocktail for the aperitif. We stayed in the evening, but during the day it has a terrace and large windows with a great view. There is also a playground if you come with children and plenty of parking spaces. We would love to come back, we enjoyed the evening.
Regarding the expenses per person: We had an aperitif, starter, main course, dessert, wine and tap water and spent between 90-100 francs per person.

Wow wow wow. Finding vegetarian sushi was always hard, but after being diagnosed with celiac it became even harder. Stumbled upon Nooch today and am so happy that I did. Their online menu allows you to filter by allergens and dietary preferences (vegan, veggie, etc). I mentioned to the waitress that I can’t have gluten and she let me know which soy sauce on the table was gluten free. I ordered a veggie sushi platter and it was delicious. When they brought my food, the waitress let me know that there had been a recipe change for an item, the Inari, and the chef wasn’t confident anymore in whether it was gluten free or not, so he replaced it with an extra of another item. I really appreciated the care and thought put into the meal to insure I didn’t get sick. Will definitely be back!
Burgers at McDonald's in Switzerland are almost certainly cross-contaminated as they are prepared on the same grill. Only the fries are cooked in a dedicated fryer and are considered safe.
Very friendly service and a large, exciting selection of burgers. They do have gluten-free buns, but we've had better ones… it was a dark, thin whole-wheat bun.
We are very happy with the pinsas, I asked what was included in the gluten-free dough. You informed me about it in detail. The quality is top and the taste, will definitely order again. Very airy
Great Lebanese food in the heart of Zurich. The mix grill is amazingly delicious. They looked after our special diet because they care and have strict processes in their kitchen. Special thanks to the owner who came to our table to assure us of meeting our Gluten Free requirements in almost every order we placed including Grills, Falafel, Tabouleh, etc..
The best fondue I have ever eaten. The atmosphere is amazing. Wines delicious, and staff very friendly. And it can be 100% gluten-free!
I would just suggest that they expand it, since the waiting line can be of hours and always totally full.
Therefore, make your reservation before going. However, if you are in Zurich, it is worth even without reservation and waiting hours in line.
