Aside from being a safe place for celiacs, with excellent pizza dough, croquettes, and other dishes, I'd also like to highlight the friendly and helpful staff, who are always attentive. Especially Lourdes "Lurdita" (because Lourdes is her mother), who has been very kind to our daughters.
Magnificent, wonderful! The bread came out a few minutes after opening, and when I got to the beach, it was still warm. In fact, I take it back to Seville every time I pass by. The bread has a good flavor and is very similar to gluten-free bread; you put it in the toaster and it lasts a long time. The pastries, wow, I'm so excited; you can tell they're really focused on making them delicious instead of making a big deal about it. And if we're talking punctuality, I was there first thing in the morning and didn't have to wait. I hope this place continues for a long time, because I love it. I don't even have any photos of the pastries because we ate them all for breakfast.
The food was delicious and tasty.
The service was average.
The only downside was that there were insects in the restaurant and on the tables.
There were a lot of people and a long wait.
They offer gluten-free pizzas.
The oven doesn't have a fan, and the pizza bases are made by a supplier, not by the restaurant. They add ingredients at the customer's request.
Second time I've ordered gluten-free food there and second time I've ended up in the emergency room due to dehydration after vomiting all afternoon. I do not recommend it for celiacs.
Add that the manager has contacted me personally showing her concern and desire to resolve the incident.
The food is brutal. What I liked the most was the Asian taco, what a mix of flavors, but everything was delicious. The place is super cool and has a good atmosphere, representing the commune of Medellín as the owner explained to us. Which is charming, and it's nice to see someone with great projects, ideas and enthusiasm. I'm not from Chiclana, but I already have an excuse to return.
Besides, it's not my case but they asked and the entire menu is gluten-free.
Highly recommended. We were looking for a place where they take into account food intolerances (gluten and lactose in our case) and not only do they have options, they adapt the food you choose so that you can eat it, mains and desserts. They also have vegan options.
We were very surprised by how empty the place was for a Saturday and we couldn't understand why, because the food was delicious, the adaptation to the needs of the group was done conscientiously and always with a smile and incredible kindness, the price was not is high...
We completely recommend it and we will 100% return when we return to Chiclana.
Very nice restaurant with a large and pleasant terrace. Everything was full (we had a reservation) and the service was slow, half an hour from when we sat down until we started eating and ordering a new drink was a five-minute wait.
Staff always very nice and helpful, they helped us choose for a person with celiac disease and another who was allergic to spices.
The food disappointed me a little: some dishes were abundant but not all, everything we tried (I don't know if this is the restaurant's norm) was cooked with little or, I would say, even some dishes, without salt, and some pasta was hard.
We ordered meat and they didn't get it right: we wanted it very well done and although they even filleted it so that it was roasted well, it was bleeding inside. We asked for it to be passed a little more and this time the outside was literally charred and with an unpleasant burnt taste but the inside was still red. Of course, in exchange they invited us to dessert.
The place in general is very good but, in my opinion, it lacks certain details (speed of service at certain times and above all more success in some dishes) to make it great.
As for price, let's say it's not cheap.
For a celiac, eating cake in a cafeteria is an impossible mission, especially not here at Velvet 😊
They have vegan products so people with intolerances can enjoy a delicious breakfast or snack, something that is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
Plus they are very good!

We highly recommend it! We buy gluten-free roast chicken and fried fish here every month, all delicious and prepared with great care. The customer service over the phone whenever we call to order is top-notch, even when they're packed. And being able to eat such delicious gluten-free fried fish is a blessing.
Good cafeteria, I recommend it, both the decaf and the cappuccinos, both with oat milk, are delicious, they also have the option of gluten-free muffins or palm trees and that is appreciated. Very good treatment whenever we go.
We went for breakfast and the truth is that the service leaves a lot to be desired. I went with my family, I have celiac disease and I asked if there was gluten-free bread. Not only did they not have any, which I can understand (quite archaic for being on a seafront but oh well), but on top of that when I asked him the waiter said “what's wrong, we don't even have things like vegan milk, here from cow's milk.” ", in a ha ha way I'm funny, as if I even had the option of eating anything else, I haven't even asked about the milk. Obviously I haven't been able to eat anything at all. Also, my family did eat, the order went wrong, they basically made up what they had ordered. The friendly girl waitress with short hair, the man… find out a little about what gluten is.
Overall it is a great restaurant.
It has good prices, good food and there is very good service.
Also something that is worth highlighting are the gluten-free options that the restaurant has.
They have gluten-free bread and many things are made with corn flour.
I will definitely go again.
They have the allergens very well specified on the menu. I can't eat gluten and they were very friendly at all times. The sea bream we ate were very delicious. Thank you so much!
Rich and with options for celiacs
The site is very well placed. The waiters are very friendly and the food is quality. The portions are very generous: you will not leave hungry.
They have several gluten-free dishes. It's a shame that the frying is not with chickpea flour so you can eat almost everything gluten-free. They have gluten free bread and beer.
The other drawback I have is that everything is open and if you sit near the entrance, you can get the smell of tobacco. Although inside the restaurant it is perfect.
I want to highlight above all the advice and kindness of the staff. We will be back!
