We continue to have good experiences at Pizzaiolo. They offer a great tasting gluten free pizza crust. The website is easy to use and living so close we usually just do pickup. The order is always ready really quickly. They have regular specials but with gluten free you pay a bit more. Medium gf pizza with 3 toppings is about $24. We've returned many times for more.

My bridesmaids planned my bridal shower at The Apartment at the Aberdeen Tavern this past weekend, and they couldn’t have picked a more perfect space! The venue on the second floor is absolutely gorgeous and bright with beautiful big wood harvest tables. It fit our group of 22 perfectly, and the brunch buffet looked AND tasted amazing! The vegan, vegetarian and gluten free guests were SO impressed with the meals they got, and the presentation was beautiful. Our server/hostess, Sherry, was awesome and made the experience even better. I would absolutely recommend this space for any event, and I will definitely be back soon to try out the restaurant!

The brewed coffee alone distinguishes Dundurn Market as a top contender amongst Hamilton's must-visits, but there's way more than that to recommend this boutique eatery to the conciencious diner. DM offers a variety of freshly baked goods, soups, salads, deserts and sandwiches crafted from the in-store kitchen and other local green businesses (with a diverse enough menu to satisfyingly accomodate gluten-free, dairy-free or vegan preferences. Their dairy-free ice cream is incredible!). And while the inside seating is a mite limited, lunchers able to snag the corner bench nook will be more than pleased. On a nice day, the adjoining patio affords a relaxing, private reprieve from whatever. An organic shopper can check the weekly shopping from the to-do list, because of course, Dundurn Market is also, well, a market. Fresh, locally sourced produce and flowers adorn the room's interior and a trolley at the store's outer entrance. Packaged organic and ethically sourced goods fill the remaining walls and fridge/freezer sections. From an observer's standpoint, the amicable staff seem to be on a first name basis with every customer who walks through the door, young or old. Moreover, approachable classes around modern cooking trends and techniques (think kombucha brewing or knife skills) are offered bi-monthly (Date night!). DM smacks of community (not in the annoying way 🙂), making this cafe a Hamilton staple and the only destination for your next casual brunch.
