Great food and would highly recommend the braised beef tostada! Tones of gluten free options too if that’s your thing. We did the taco truck the day before (which was decent) but if we knew about this place then we would’ve skipped the long wait times and gone here instead.

Gluten free "Tofino" (Nanaimo) bars! Cheap breakfast and drinks. Basic diner food that fuels you for the day. Friendly servers. Classic local spot. Huge selection of baked goods.

I visited once again late on a chilly wet afternoon so the shop was lively with chatter and background music. Staff was super friendly and kind. Often donuts run out but I was lucky to find one gluten free donut. It had sprinkles so I'm hoping the dye doesn't bother me. It's a must stop in if visiting Tofino.

This was the best vegetarian taco I have ever had. The taco was generously packed full of great, flavourful veggies and sauce. Was part of a large group and the staff at Tacofino were super-accommodating; making special arrangements to meet the needs of each member of our group. There were a number of dietary restrictions, and they accommodated everything from gluten free to vegetarian needs. Everyone walked away stuffed and super satisfied.

One of the best spots for a gluten free meal in Tofino! I have celiac disease and ate here safely. They even have a dedicated gluten free deep fryer!
