Delicious and fun. They dealt with Blanche's gluten-free requirements beautifully. The salmon dip was a terrific starter... we hope to go back soon.

We often come here for birthday dinners and the food is always quality here and of course the atmosphere and views are great. This past time we did notice a few changes that were kind of frustrating. First most of the cocktails are $18. I obviously know this place is pricey but I still feel like that is outrageous and I do not remember them being $18 the last time we came. They also stopped giving you bread as an appetizer and cited that it’s because so many people are gluten free now that they were wasting money and product. I think reducing waste is great, but annoying if it’s something you look forward to and now it’s $7 if you want any. I feel like a compromise would be just asking the table if they want bread or not. Another thing is if you have a party of 6 or more then they put it all on one check. I’m sure this makes it easier on the waiters but it leaves the diners much more frustrated at the end of the evening trying to divide it all up. I will probably steer my family away from picking caps anymore as a celebration place.

Arrived at 530, told it was a 50 minute wait, which I get. It’s Saturday night in St. Augustine… we chose to wait. Actually got seated early which I thought was a good sign. Wrong. We ordered at 6 or so. Ordered an app, 2 adult entrees, a salad from the gluten sensitive menu, 2 kids menu entrees. Appetizer took 45 minutes to come out, at this point it’s 7pm. The salad arrived covered in croutons. They brought a new one. We have a 2.5 year old and a 1 year old getting really uneasy at the table after eating all the crabcakes by 720. By 730 we asked for our food to be boxed up, as we have now run out the clock on being able to dine in. Our server proceeds to bring us a check for $32, I assumed they didn’t charge for the dinner because it took an hour and a half and still wasn’t ready. Wrong again. They cancelled our food instead of boxing it up to go and did not tell us that until my wife finally asked at 8pm as I took the youngest to the car to sleep while she waited for the food that was never coming... This was the last night of a week long vacation, and now we are going home with empty stomachs and a wasted 2.5 hours for nothing but a salad and some crab cakes that were just used to try and satisfy 2 toddlers. Horrible experience, I would recommend nothing but eating elsewhere if they are busy.
