This is our favorite place to eat at the moment. The atmosphere is nothing fancy but very at home and cheerful; the food is amazing (Latin American/Cuban/Venezuelan/Columbian). I love the empanadas and slow-cooked oxtail soup* (*available on Sunday only); my husband loves the arepas. We have a friend who grew up in Columbia, and he was amazed how authentic and excellent the empanadas were - so much so he had to take some home, so his daughter can experience the taste of his childhood. We’ve enjoyed pretty much everything we’ve had here. I can’t have gluten/eggs/dairy, and GF items are clearly marked on the menu (the fryer is not dedicated GF, as I understand it). I also love the maduros (fried sweet plantains) for dessert. What makes this restaurant even more special is the proprietor, Luam. He is so personable, he’ll make you feel welcome from the first visit. Plus he’s a very community-oriented, giving person who helps those in need. I understand they are moving to a new location, making it a little further to the north. We would love to follow them to celebrate the new beginning.

The bottomless chai is delicious (and all but refills itself—it’s easy to drink more cups than you’d like. Attentive service. Generous portions with fresh, quality ingredients. Many choices means everyone can eat here—vegan, gluten free, children, etc. I’m leaving with a happy heart and full tummy.

Excellent food! Have ordered their pizza, meatballs, breadsticks, and now meatball subs (grinders), including some items from their gluten free menu. Everything has been so perfect. It’s quality Italian food that’s even amazing the next day. We love the gluten free options and the fact that they have goat cheese! Their desserts are a must as well. Delivery is fast & super reasonable. They wrap everything with such care; we’re looking forward to trying everything on the menu.

My favorite bar in Seattle. A friendly staff, great indoor and outdoor seating, dog friendly, 60-something beers, ciders, kombucha, and rootbeer on tap. Gluten free and non-alcoholic beer in the fridge. Cannot recommend highly enough.
