The food was really really good, I got the fried chicken, the crab cakes and we got the chocolate cake. They were all gluten free and delicious. The building though was so old, and it smelled awful, was very dusty and was a bit hard to breath because it was so musky. I’ve been to some restaurants that were in older buildings and none of them have been like that. Then our service was really bad also. So food-5 stars, atmosphere-1 star service-1 star. There is outdoor seating so maybe it’s worth it to sit outside and eat in the fresh air. They had a ton of gluten free options though.

It was my first time visiting cheesetique. I just moved to the neighborhood so I wanted to check it out. For reference this Restaurant has gluten free options but they forgot and served me gluten free bread! I have an autoimmune disease that is sensitive to gluten so hence why I am gluten free. My husband and I ordered gluten free appetizers and he got the pasta. Then my sandwich came and I didnt know if it was GF. The bread looked gf but it tasted different than gf. I began to eat it when the waitress came by 10 mins later to check on us I asked her to confirm if it was GF and she looked at me saying whoops, "no, so sorry." I trusted her given our long convo about gluten free about all our other items. I don't know if she forgot or the chef and kitchen didnt read the notes but we were clear I was GF. The manager came by apologized told us he took off my sandwich but we shared with him if it was more severe someone could have died or gotten more sick... which can be a lawsuit. I told him he should have comped us for the entire meal. It was unacceptable. He then promptly said dont worry about paying. We left a tip for our waitress still but we are very disappointed about our experience and the mistake. This experience occurred on Aug 2nd and 7pm. We left the restaurant with our food items to go at around 8:30pm.

Despite the restaurant being a bit noisy, it didn't detract from our overall enjoyment of the meal.

We were in Williamsburg on vacation and decided to try Antonio’s based on reviews on Find Me Gluen Free. Our two daughters (12 & 14) have Celiac disease. Our older daughter had the GF ravioli and our younger daughter had GF penne with red sauce. We all shared GF calamari as an appetizer and the girls split GF chocolate cake. I am a practicing gastroenterology physician in Richmond. I took my family to this restaurant, explained to the server three times that I have a gluten allergy and placed an order for a gluten free pizza The server appears to have acknowledged and recognized this and reported that she has family members who have a gluten allergy as well. Despite this, she incorrectly placed the order for a pizza for me with a gluten containing crust. Only after I had consumed as substantial amount of this item, did she then return and informed my family members that this was a gluten containing pizza. I asked to speak with the manager. While waiting to speak with the manager, another patron at the restaurant who had overheard the discussion reported to me that a similar situation had happened with him. I explained this to the manager who was completely unfazed. After a brief back-and-forth discussion with the manager, I noted to her that the servers attention to detail was negligent. I asked to speak with the owner. I received no call from the owner. I’m giving this place one out of five stars mainly on the basis of what appears to have been an inadequate response to a negligent server

Gonna have to rate this lower until I get a response. Ordered the asiago chicken, fries, and French onion -all gluten free with listed allergies. I didnt have the soup last night and have had severe diarrhea, bloating and gas all day. Typical from eating gluten for me and last up to 1-2 weeks. I can only assume it was in fact the Asiago chicken. I rarely eat outside of my comfort spots because of this so im gonna have to recommend you steer clear if you are Celiac, GF, or have any allergies. If you cant guarantee the surface or utensils havent been contaminated, don't use them or don't make the product. I would rather have the items docked and refunded than go through this.

It was hot and had a good taste. The latte (not pictured) was very flavorful. Gluten free pancakes had a buttermilk flavor to them but a little stiff. WHY?! This was a gem for Celiac gluten-free eaters. Now they've gotten rid of the designated gluten-free frier so you can't get a burger and fries, the wings were burnt, the grilled chicken on the salad was burnt and the nachos were a soggy mess. Money down the drain.

This is THE place to get a burger. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but they serve the best burger in town. The char is perfect and both the beef and chicken come out juicy and full of flavor. They also have non traditional burgers like lentil and falafel. They have several bun options as well, like gluten free and pretzel. Do yourself a flavor favor and get some fries to go with your burger. The staff is always on point, friendly, quick, and accurate service.

I am a regular Korean BBQ eater. Maybe it's not entirely fair to compare Japanese BBQ to Korean, I know different countries entirely, however, being in Northern Virginia it is hard not to compare a similar concept to KBBQ. The atmosphere is great, the meat was delicious, the sides lacked any flavor because they were just regular veggies (corn, not cheese corn, zucchini and cremini mushrooms), it came with a salad and miso that were flavorful. We ordered the value meal for 2 people with one cocktail $14 and a diet coke the total was $106, after tipping 22% I spent $130.. The meat was perfectly marinated and the quality was high, however the portions were insanely SMALL. I left hungry and wishing I went to Kbbq instead but it was an experience. I also noticed all the marinades and sauces were sweet- the sauces on the table were Ponzu, Sweet Soy Sauce and a Spicy Sauce that was also sweet, I found myself wishing for a more savory sauce to balance out all the sweetness. Our server was super friendly and attentive. For example I had taken the lemon from my gfs cocktail and put it in my diet coke, our server noticed and without me saying anything brought me a refill diet coke with a lemon (this didn't go unnoticed!). I personally don't see myself coming back but glad I gave it a try. Oh and I will add that everything we ordered was gluten and dairy free naturally so that was a huge plus.

Wonderful experience. They were pretty busy, and a storm was coming in, so they were in the process of moving outside parties to inside tables. Even with all of that, wait time was 10 minutes. We decided to sit at the bar. We were thrilled to see they had so many gluten-free options. I had the shrimp and crab pasta without any reaction. My fiance had the bacon, egg, and cheddar smash burger and was in pain 😢 The service and experience overall was nice. Next time, we will verify they have a dedicated space to cook. Pretty sure he was Cross contaminated.

Great food and service! There are a great variety of menu items for those who need gluten free and dairy free choices! It was hard to select from them, but we went with the burgers and ribs, with french fries - both the potato and sweet potato. Both were excellent, and the ribs were some of the best! The service was great also, and the server was very knowledgeable about the menu and gluten free options for us. We would highly recommend them!

Very good fried chicken & waffle breakfast, flavorful even though it's two thin breast cutlets rather than thigh meat, and the gravy & more savory zesty syrup were also very tasty! Mixed review from the kid on the gluten free coconut quinoa pancakes. They were out of black tea, disappointing. Even though we were the sixth party of two in line, they got us seated fast.

We have been coming to Virginia Beach off/on for 24 years and dining at Waterman's each trip. 3 years since our last visit. Walk in. No reservation. Seated promptly inside as requested. Our standard order for two orange crushes placed. These crushes had very little actual orange taste and more ice than drink. $9.25 each. We have the drink recipe from Waterman's and make them at home regularly with the original Burnett's orange vodka. These crushes were made with the new Waterman's orange branded vodka. Didn't order any more.
My wife's salmon salad and crab cake were very good. My lobster tail and sides were also good. A lot of flies inside the restaurant detracted from the meal.

We love Capitol Ale House! Kylie was fabulous. The club is my absolute favorite but I've tried many menu items with no complaints. I had to take off a star because of my recent visit. I have a gluten allergy friend who loves Capitol Ale because of the gluten free options. She ALWAYS looks forward to the fries. They had a dedicated air fryer. This was a huge bonus for anyone with a gluten allergy. This has changed sometime recently and unfortunately is longer an option. Bring back the gluten free fry option.

This used to be my absolute favorite cake place in Richmond. I’ve been gone for a year and a half, came back tonight and saw the new location. The gluten free size is 1/3 what it was for the SAME price. No layers, nothing. The très leches I got was ugly, soggy and tiny. It didn’t taste too bad but I will not be coming here again.

You can ask for breakfast, also can have lunch or dinner our during breakfast hours. Sebastian was our server today he has a great personality, quick server and very polite.
