"Misuer Bobby, can you say 'I love crepes?' " Yes I can. Rachel's was great! Great food, fun coffee drinks, friendly staff, big portions and lot of options for gluten free, vegetarian/vegan people. You might even get to pet some dogs if you sit outside :) Good vibes only kind of a place, would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun breakfast or brunch spot.
Absolutely exceptional Thai food at reasonable prices. There is a lot of good food in Lancaster, but this is probably my favorite at the moment. They have an extensive menu, and everything I've tried has exceeded expectations (although it's a *tiny* bit better in person than for take out/delivery). They are also quite good with dietary restrictions, particularly celiac for me (gluten free), and that has made eating here a real treat.
Food is fantastic and they are very accommodating if you are gluten free. Everything on the menu is delicious and service is super fast. We love coming here!
This pizza place has a great atmosphere. You walk up to the counter, state what kind of pizza you want, and then you go down the line and add what sauce and toppings you want. The great thing about this place are their gluten free crust and plant based options for protein toppings. Prices for food were average for the area. The pizza tasted delicious, and service was quick.
My daughter had the Indian Omelet with gluten free toast. (delicious) and really good coffee. Staff was great and very friendly. Will be back when I get into the city.
Lived this place. Wife has gluten issues and these guys worked out great. Good coffee, decent prices and excellent food. We found this place and my wife demanded that we go back for breakfast on the way out of town. Will definitely go back when we are in town visiting relatives. Very nice staff.
This place rocks! It does have a full bar, FYI. The food is awesome. Felt like good, clean, eating. Not greasy but so packed with flavor. The location feels out of the way, but once you come here you'll have to come back. Petar and team do great at making you feel welcome and ensuring that each plate is perfect. We loved the mezze platter, as pictured. Make sure to get extra pita! It's so good! And there are gluten free (GF) options. This is a hidden gem of Lancaster.
Grab a dessert and coffee or espresso to relax and digest after your meal.
Oh... and the fries are exquisite.
My husband and I dined here for our anniversary, and it was nothing short of phenomenal. The outdoor winter villas added a special touch, making it absolutely worth it for a romantic dinner.
From the moment we walked in, the customer service was excellent. The hostesses were incredibly kind, and our waitress ensured we were well taken care of.
The food was amazing. I have dietary restrictions as I’m gluten-free and dairy-free, but they happily accommodated me so I could fully enjoy my meal. 10 out of 10, We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Did was delicious. I'm gluten free and their gf menu is extensive. Almost anything can be made gluten free, and the zucchini noodles (one of a few noodles options) were delicious and perfectly cooked. The cashier hooked me up with a meal since I got a drink and a rice krispie treat. I appreciate the quick service, I was out with food in under 20 minutes from the time is stepped in the door, because there was no line.
John J Jeffries knocked it out of the park. If you're visiting Lancaster, this restaurant is a must-try.
The service was excellent. Not just our waiter, but everyone at the front of the house was bringing their A game. The team here was working in harmony, with good communication and dedication to making sure we had a good experience. My fiancée had a gluten sensitivity, and this was well accommodated. The managers of this establishment should be commended.
The food was just excellent. Their seasonal menu changes often, but everything tasted very high quality. The flavors were often complex and sophisticated without being too strong or overwhelming. The "surf and turf" was, as my fiancee declared, something she'd feel luxurious eating every day. The shrimp and grits and beef tartare are both excellent as well. Sharing a few small plates is definitely the way to go.
By the time we finished the meal, we were already talking about when we'd next get the chance to come back.
And last note: the good price! Not inexpensive, but absolutely reasonable given the service, environment, and high quality of the food. The owners here are definitely keeping a modest profit margin here, and it makes me eager to come back.
The food was fantastic. I can't say that it will replace some of my other go-to places for sushi/Asian food, but many of the items here are more unique than other places that it would still make my rotation and warrants 5 stars. The Burmese noodles were fantastic and had a unique kind of savory flavor to them (possibly because I've not had Burmese food before). While the sushi selection wasn't very big, they do offer a lot of different rolls that I've not seen compared to other local places. The Hawaiian roll we got was unlike anything else I've had.
They were also very willing to navigate making things gluten free for us. Service was VERY fast.
Nice upscale Mediterranean style restaurant. Nice pairing as far as the dishes and the drinks. Ample seafood options as well as gluten free, vegan options. Service was second to none 👌. Did I mention the food was delicious? Because it certainly was and nice presentation as well. Definitely worth checking out.
Their gluten free flatbread is the reason we chose to eat here, and I was not disappointed! The Magpie was delicious with its juicy chicken(big surprise). Our server was all alone and doing amazing! She took really good care of us. She took the time to ask if they'd sell me some plain flatbreads to take home, and they did! I live 2.25 hrs away, but if I ever come back this way we will Definitely eat here again! Thank you, Miss Carol, for making my wonderful sandwich and for checking what brand those flatbread are 😍 very kind. We all really liked the pickles! The fountain soda was a little weak, but the refill was not. Weird
Root Vegan Restaurant is a delightful culinary gem in Lancaster, offering top-quality vegan and gluten-free fare. Their seasonal menu and classic favorites cater to every taste, while their selection of vegan wines and beers adds an extra layer of enjoyment. The attentive staff and inviting ambiance make this restaurant a must-visit for anyone looking for an exceptional vegan dining experience.
I had a wonderful experience at Annie Bailey’s. I have Celiac, so going out to restaurants can be a pretty stressful experience at times. The staff set my mind fully at ease! Our server asked if we had any allergies and wrote down everything that I asked her to share with the kitchen staff.
I ordered the Irishman Burger with a GF Bun. I completely glossed over the beer-braised cabbage on this burger. When the burger came to my table it was on the side. With slight hesitation in the back of my mind, I poured the cabbage onto my burger. However, I couldn’t ignore my instincts anymore, so I double-checked the menu. Seeing that the cabbage was braised in beer I ordered the burger again emphasizing that this was my mistake and I’d like to pay for both burgers. The cook brought my 2nd burger out to make sure that I felt comfortable with it. He explained that the cabbage is braised in cider so if I’d like the cabbage still he would bring it for me. Hearing that I was delighted and did have the delicious cabbage. Even though I said several times that I would absolutely pay for both burgers. They only charged me for one.
It is so wonderful to find a “go-to” restaurant where I can feel totally safe and well taken care of!
What a wonderful meal we had last night! Kyle, our server was terrific. He was very helpful with suggestions and helped my dairy allergic partner find options on the menu. I started with a half portion of the tropical salad, which was full of delicious fruit and cashews, goat cheese, everything seasoning, and perfectly balanced dressing. My partner started with the deviled eggs with crab that he enjoyed. He also had the crab cakes, which were all crab meat (gluten and dairy free!), and was super happy with his meal. My entree was the trout special with tons of jumbo lump crab meat, mash, green beans in an almond and butter sauce. My friend also loved her filet mignon. Everything was cooked perfectly. Desserts were tasty too and I loved the plum and walnut ice cream special. We enjoyed our dinner outside. The ambiance is nice both inside and outside. Would definitely come back again!
I was never at the Ephrata location but, since the new location is closer I was excited to try them because of the gluten free breakfast choices. I had the banana Nutella French toast. It was very good! I'll be back to try more gluten free items. My only thought is to offer more coffee/tea choices (like cold brew or dirty chai, etc)
The have a wonderful selection of food and an amazing aesthetic. The gluten free bread has a lovely flavor and they serve breakfast all day! Great for small groups of people and has a nice indoor and outside dinning experience. Will probably be my new favorite hangout spot!
As I sit here eating the other half of my meal for leftovers, I have to rave about DJ's. We've driven past it countless times on road trips and always said "we've gotta go" but we finally went and let me tell you I wish we'd tried it sooner.
You step inside and you're transported back to the 50s. The staff is so nice, and the food is INCREDIBLE. My husband is gluten free and we were worried there wouldn't be anything for him to eat BUT they have gluten free buns and bread and can make any sandwich or burger gluten free! And he said the bun was actually pretty good, too!! I got the turkey melt and it was to die for. Genius. I'm in heaven right now eating the other half of it. Don't sleep on DJ's!!!
This was a very interesting exposure to Ethiopian cuisine. There were plenty of vegan and gluten free options. I was not aware when we went that the food was meant to be shared or that you eat it with you hands; you pick up the food with a kind of bread called teff. The owner was extremely kind and open about talking about Ethiopian customs. We are really glad that we took the time to try something new. We purchased a bottle of the homemade honey wine. It is non alcoholic. It is very similar to kombucha. I found the smell to be a little off putting, but the flavor to be delicious. It is definitely worth trying. We will definitely go back.
Absolutely delicious dining at Saigon Cafe. The menu is so diverse with so many options! Vegetarian friendly as well as many options for gluten-free and vegan with modifications. They always accommodate my food sensitivities. The staff are really kind and lovely and the owner Ken is a star. He comes and greets his customers and genuinely wants to make sure we are enjoying the food and the atmosphere. Excellent value for fresh home cooked traditional Vietnamese cuisine. I am definitely a regular now! Both in person dining and delivery!
Great food! Gluten free options are hard to come by, but this place does them well. Every item I've had was delicious - especially the homemade sauces! Highly suggest the spinach or birria pupusas, empanadas, and that wonderful guacamole... The list goes on!
Decades is a a very fun and friendly bar. The drink menu has a lot of interesting variety and even includes some nice gluten free beer options (Ghostfish, in particular). My wife is a huge fan of the bar menu food that is served late, especially the soft pretzels.
Most of the arcade games work pretty well, and the overall environment is cool.
Absolutely delicious food! Super hard to find vegetarian and gluten free options. Not only do they have both, but it was AMAZING, flavorful, and fresh. We will definitely be back. Service was also great, very friendly and answered our questions. Thank you!
Busy evening but lived it for an upscale yet casual evening with family. We were in jeans and leggings. Table beside us was a wedding rehearsal group in dressier attire. Next to them was s famimy with a well behaved preschooler. The historics factory decor is SO interesting. I liked the 1865 cocktail and red beet salad with chicken. My dau in law has celiac so GF eating is a must for her and this restaurant is on her safe list.
