Been here a few times now and it is just fantastic! The food was amazing and would definitely go back just for that.
The first time I went, one of the people in my party had a gluten and nut allergy and the waitress took it seriously, providing all of the necessary information making sure the food was safe for everyone.
Not really a fan of the cocktails it’s quite a limited menu and so can we difficult to pick one if you are a bit fussy.
Been here an evening when the band is playing and it is fantastic. Such good energy and you still get served at the bar quickly upstairs.
Myself and a group of girls had an issue over the weekend with an inappropriate male. I raised my issue with the staff who then promptly resolved the issue and took it seriously, which was really reassuring.
Will definitely go here again on a night out and would highly recommend it!
Although they don’t advertise gluten free, most of their menu is naturally gluten free. They are amazing when it come to cross contamination, and they do have gluten free crackers available for one of their sides.
This review is for Gluten free diners.
If you’re Celiac forget this place.
I was out with family on a joint birthday meal with my wife, daughter and her boyfriend on the Saturday just gone. Now being Celiac I expect my meals to be not exactly what I would love to eat, but more working out the best solution of what there is that I can. 🤷♂️.
I explained to the waiter that even though I have celiac and would look to be eating anything gluten free, I wouldn’t be bothered if items were described as could be slightly contaminated with wheat etc.
So first up drinks, no gluten free Larger, no Cider so it was water or wine at £47 a bottle - house.
Starters, I went with the meat balls which were fine albeit tiny but very tasty.
Main I asked for the Lamb Shank but with potatoes and not the Pasta, which he replied we can not do that as the menus couldn’t be changed. This due to the Pasta being cooked in the juice of the Lamb Shank, but I didn’t want the Pasta .🤷♂️
Ok So I had the Steak with potatoes, he returned and said you can’t have the potatoes, but can have mushrooms. I agreed as I didn’t want to sound like someone who just moans.
Which I’m not, I never leave reviews etc.
The meal came and I asked for a steak knife, we don’t have them here replied 🤷♂️.
So I was left using what I would describe as the tiniest knife ever.
The knife did cut the Stake, though which was good, but could it cut the mushrooms (no way). As hard as I tried they wouldn’t cut in size so I left the whole portion.
Coffee was fine 👍. (Give the wine a miss though)
The three other meals were all good, so it was just mine wasn’t what I’d expect paying over £300 including the service charge.
If I were the manager I would seriously look at drink and food options for gluten free eaters, we don’t chose to have this allergy. This review is to help gluten free eaters make a choice to eat here.
What would have been the hardship of serving me the Lamb which two others had and enjoyed with veg or potatoes. You should work with you guests, audience no matter what.
I will never return as there are two many decent restaurants in Manchester who would have helped out.

Haven’t had food here, but if you’re looking for gluten free beer, you’ll get some at here. It’s really nice beer too, not like the ones you get in the supermarket.
Authentic Spanish tapas and really knowledgeable staff. Even had GF Croquetas when we were there! GF beer and you can even practice your holiday vocab. Highly recommend.
Got a gift voucher from our daughter we went expecting to add too but we were very impressed with the prices fir a 5 star experience it was great value for money the food was delicious and very tasty
We had the a la carte menu starter main and dessert and 3 cocktails
The service was excellent very attentive but not always in your face explained every dish that was brought I had plenty of choice being gluten intolerant would definitely recommend
This is a great unassuming restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food. The sea bream just melted and was complimented by the smoky celeriac cream. The lamb was also tender and flavourful.
The staff were knowledgeable about allergies in the dishes and accommodated my gluten and my wifes lactose intolerance without fuss.
NB Don’t follow Google or Apple Maps! The restaurant is opposite the Hilton hotel Great Bridgewater street entrance, up the coloured steps and about 100m on the left.
We came for breakfast and April was AMAZING! I am gluten free and sometimes struggle to feel confident that my food is safe. April knew exactly what was gluten free and made me feel very comfortable. The food was brilliant!
