We stopped by here on a weekend getaway, and I'm sad I don't have something like this around the corner.
Great pizza (also available with vegan cheese)! Even my companion, who doesn't rely on gluten-free food, was impressed. Great service. Highly recommended!
Most of dishes are gluten-free, except for a few ones, like the sandwiches. Risk of cross-contamination is given, because there is no separation in the kitchen for gluten-free food. I can highly recommend the cakes, everything’s gluten free and separately stored.
Thank you for being so responsive to my father's celiac disease! The food was generally delicious and the hospitality was extremely warm. We felt very comfortable and will come back without hesitation and my father is already looking forward to the best sauerbraten ever 😊
It's simply wonderful when the waiter says, "You need gluten-free?! Did you know that we also offer our pasta dishes and tarte flambée gluten-free?
And everything is freshly prepared and absolutely delicious 🤩
We'll definitely be back.
Very nice staff, delicious food, but you won't find vegan or vegetarian pasta dishes. Maybe this is an unusual request and the people of Eisenach are real meat eaters? The staff were very nice and were able to convert a meat dish into a vegetarian one, but it would be nice to have a few options here and see them clearly marked on the menu.
Plus points again for gluten-free food.
The two of us went out for lunch one weekday. My gluten-free pizza cost a whopping €4.50 extra and tasted absolutely nothing. The broccoli I ordered as an extra for €1.50 on the pizza was the only highlight. The tomatoes used tasted like it was mid-January at the end of June – namely, tasted of nothing at all, and the mozzarella was just plain sad. As if all that weren't bad enough, I missed the advertised basil and other exotic spices like salt and pepper on the "Pizza Caprese." I had to order these separately from the waiter because they weren't just available on the table.
I paid a whopping €17.50 for this tasteless meal. My companion had spaghetti Napoli, and the portion was pretty small for €13. So small that someone who usually bursts with children's portions ate the entire portion and had another slice of my pizza and then ice cream. The "Parmesan" for the pasta costs €2 extra, which would be OK if it were really high-quality Parmesan. What was delivered was finely grated Grana Padano (not nearly as high-quality, only half as aged, and half as aromatic). Even the bill stated "Extra Padano." However, the waitress explained to us in great detail why the price was justified: "Because Parmesan is expensive."
So, all in all:
Cheapest ingredients, careless and tasteless preparation, in an uncomfortable atmosphere.
Absolute recommendation, delicious burger, even gluten-free wasn't a problem, great atmosphere, nice owner, waiter and house dog, "super cute"
All the best for 2025..🍀
Very good restaurant.
The prices are very fair for Weimar standards. I particularly enjoy the street sales of pizza corners and the fact that they also offer gluten-free products (the ONLY one in Weimar).
Everything is always fresh.
The service is very courteous, although sometimes a bit slow (during peak times).
The ambience outside is great because you're sitting right on Schillerstrasse and so you always have something to look at.
It also gives you a good feeling that the boss is also the waiter himself.
Nice cafe in a very good location. Listed on Google Maps under the attribute “gluten-free”. Unfortunately there is no gluten-free cake there. That doesn't fit the description.
We have been there several times and have always been very satisfied. If you have intolerances (gluten-free), the staff reacts very well, is very knowledgeable and can answer questions. You can also get good vegetarian food here and have a large selection. Completely satisfied!
Definitely not safe for celiacs..
Very bad knowledge of gluten allergies..
The waitress went like you can pick the bread with your hand out of the meal if you‘re allergic..
We ended up not ordering any and get back home..
The short version: the best pizza in Jena. Absolutely recommended!
The long version: we ordered pickup there on December 9th, shortly after Nine-O-Five opened in Jena. The pizzas took about 10 minutes longer than announced over the phone, which can happen in any restaurant, after all, gastronomy can never be timed exactly. Regarding the pizza: a traditional dough with good gluten development, in my opinion it could even be a little more hydrogenated. The ingredients were very tasty, the Popeye pizza is topped with spinach, mountain cheese and kampot pepper, but unfortunately a bit too greasy. Both the Popeye and the Buffalina had very nice leoparding (black spots and quality mark of the oven and dough), but too much durum wheat semolina on the bottom (used to make the pizzas easier to get into the oven), which was burnt and therefore gave the pizza an unpleasantly bitter taste.
There are five stars for the Pizzeria Nine-O-Five (905°F corresponds to 485°C, the temperature that should be used for a Neapolitana pizza) for only two reasons: firstly, there is no comparable pizza in Jena is so well crafted and uses good ingredients; on the other hand, we ordered shortly after it opened and assume that not everything was perfect. The above criticism is complaining on a high level - if you are looking for a very tasty Neapolitan style pizza, you will find it at Nine-O-Five! We will order again.
Friendly service and good food. Gluten-free food was also possible after consultation without any problems. Had goulash with Thuringian dumplings. Ours were cooked separately without any bread pieces. Simply great to recommend. Thanks again to the kitchen

Our stay at the hotel was very pleasant.
There is a bicycle storage facility. The rooms are adequate and clean, and the bathroom and shower were also satisfactory. Only the lighting in the bathroom was too dim.
The spa area has a large indoor pool and several saunas. They are also very pleasant to use and correspondingly clean.
Only the coordination between reception and kitchen staff was not working well, hence one star deduction. Due to an illness, we requested gluten-free food several weeks in advance and asked whether it would be possible for dinner and breakfast. We were informed by email that this would not be a problem and that we should contact the restaurant staff again on arrival. Unfortunately, the restaurant staff were not informed of this, and it was only in the evening that gluten-free rolls for breakfast were spontaneously organized. If you depend on this and have to request everything several weeks in advance, this should work better at a 4-star hotel. On the positive side, however, the staff made every effort to make up for this difference. All in all, a highly recommended hotel in a great location. We'd be happy to return.
Food was very tasty. The staff should be trained again on gluten-free and celiac disease in order to avoid contamination etc. Since eating, stomach pain due to celiac disease... unfortunately
Great place to drink coffee. We went there for the first time on a Sunday afternoon. The service was great, nice and friendly. There was even gluten-free cake there. We are thrilled and would love to come back
