We ate here because of the gluten free burgers. The burgers were good, both with and without gluten. Not outstanding, just good. We all didn't like the fries, they were very dark, quite greasy, and not particularly crispy. The ambience is ok. Quite a small shop, more of a snack bar, not a restaurant, but nicely decorated. The service was good.
You can choose the gluten-free option, wich is a buckwheat dough. The employees know about gf-eating and the kitchen is clean. Also there is gf tiramisu, ricotta (dessert) and they have gf pasta and you can choose gf tarte (also with buckwheat dough). It’s soooooooo good🥰! I’m always happy, when I’m eating there! It’s really worth it, go there!!!

Everything was awesome, the food was delicious, the staff is caring and the atmosphere was wonderful. This is the best gluten- and lactose- free restaurant.
We ordered everything gluten-free: The truffle pasta was incredibly delicious, the pizza margarita was tasty, and you could hardly tell the difference from the gluten-containing version. I asked for advice on the wine, and the recommendation went very well with the meal (pecorino), and the panna cotta with basil and orange caramel was divine! It was even enough for two. The espresso was very good, and we were always treated with kindness and courtesy. Christian and his colleagues did a truly fantastic job. Thank you for your hospitality! We'll be back.
The only drawback: Although they offer gluten-free truffle pasta, they can't offer a gluten-free truffle pizza. I found that very unfortunate (and illogical).
For anyone with celiac disease: Only the gluten-free pizza is made in a separate kitchen, the pasta is not, and is therefore not suitable for celiac disease.
I am only gluten-free and tolerated everything very well.
A small restaurant with a typically trendy atmosphere and delicious vegetarian and/or gluten-free pizza. They offer special pizzas depending on the season, but expect a bit of a wait and always pre-order!
Went there with my coeliac daughter. We queued twice, first to get a card, then to order the food. We were then told to wait to be called to collect food. About 30mins. When we thought food was ready we got told there were no gluten-free pinsas that day! No apologies for the wait and the server was annoyed when I told him to also cancel my order too (non gf). Did he expect me to eat alone and leave my daughter to starve? An apology and maybe an explanation of what else she could have had would have been helpful…Eating gf safely in Berlin is not easy, it can be stressful with children. Please train your staff to understand that and make sure signs are available when you run out of GF options on busy days.

It's more comfortable upstairs in the restaurant than downstairs.
Staff is very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and fresh.
There are various gluten-free pinsa, super delicious! I can highly recommend it if you have to eat a gluten-free diet.
Very tasty ice cream. Almost all varieties are gluten-free. There was also a gf croissant.
Next to the counter there is a refrigerator with many desserts, also gluten-free.
Unfortunately, we were not informed that the gluten-free pizza we ordered was sold out; Instead, a "normal", ie gluten-containing pizza was served. Fortunately, we recognized this in time before consumption.
Fresh, amazing bowls 🥙🥗
The materials are really fresh and they work really clean😍
They offer also glutenfree, lactosefree and veggies bowls.
I tried indian curry bowl👌🏻für 12,75€
And the chicken avocado bowl
The taste was amazing but the prices are a little high in camparison to the quantity of the food. But it was worth it because the taste was great. They have also many branches in berlin. You can download their app and get the deals sometime from it to buy the bowls for a less price.
But they have a very nice atmosphere and cute place!

We were together mainly because of the gluten-free offering. My son has celiac disease and tolerated everything very well. He really enjoyed the gluten-free Kaiserschmarrn and there was even gluten-free bread for him from the kitchen as a greeting.
It's very nice to sit in, it's very comfortable both outside and inside. The service was very friendly and accommodating, but we sometimes had to wait forever.
Overall a very nice restaurant!
Cute place and the food and coffee in general is pretty good. I was the only one that ordered the gluten free bread (+2,50€) and got a really sad alternative that was definitely not comparable. It was a kind of grain bread but more like Pumpernickel with a weird taste. Please get the nice sourdough bread from AENAS next door that is really worth 2,50€+ as an alternative.
People with celiac disease cannot eat in this restaurant. Because tortillas with and without gluten are made in the same oven. Which I don't quite understand. Big disappointment.
Very helpful, super friendly service. The atmosphere is cozy, familiar. Very tasty mezze! Gluten free bread possible! We were lucky and were able to get a spot spontaneously.
Delicious food, best meal I have had in Berlin since arriving 2 days ago! Catered for our gluten free requirements. The gentleman who served us was super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.
We went in the hope of finding some gluten free food. Good allergy card, shows all menu items and what you can have. We went with the Tijiana fries. Great food and the coeliac in our group was well catered for. Just need to add a GF currywurst to the menu to make it the perfect restaurant!
This place was an amazing surprise! The food is absolutely delicious, and there are a lot of gluten free options (marked on the menu which you can find on their website).
We came to the restaurant by chance, we were happy to find out that there is awareness for people who are sensitive to gluten. Different sensitivities are indicated on the menu and the staff helps in choosing the dishes.
The food is very tasty, beautifully served and the service is courteous.
In addition, there is a selection of drinks and cocktails that look great. Highly recommended.
When I called to reserve a seat, the staff was extremely friendly on the phone and was able to fulfill my wishes.
When we entered the extremely cozy and coolly furnished location, we saw very friendly, beaming faces - under the motto "It's nice that you came."
Service top, attentive, inquiring - old school of hospitality!!!
The food was fresh, looked good and tasted excellent. Little chats made the stay perfect.
I felt completely looked after but not intrusively served.
Thank you, also for the tip about the nearest café, which also serves cake that is gluten-free!
I'll be back!!!
Great experience, great food and we could not fault the service! My wife is gluten free and they explained to her everything she could not have! Would recommend if you like Indian!
This was a great place to come and I’m sure on the weekend with more people there the vibe would be even more exciting (nevertheless the environment was still great when it was quiet weeknight). The menu is wide range of „pub“ meals and has a great vegan selection, everything can also be made gluten free for those who need. Everyone keeps complaining about the prices in their reviews but fair is fair this is a craft brew place and if they wanted a cheap beer they could just go to a Späti but overall the experience trump the price for me. Great work I’ll be there again soon on my birthday!
Love it AGAIN! absolutely thrilled! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, the staff was so incredibly friendly, I would like to thank Marlene and Anne again, attentive and courteous, you make the visit perfect.
The food itself was simply excellent: fresh, high-quality ingredients, a large selection of delicious dishes and lovingly prepared. I was particularly impressed by the homemade specialties and the wide variety of breads. Big special point for the gluten-free and home-baked food!!! Bread
The portions were so incredibly generous and everything was seasoned perfectly.
I can recommend this breakfast place to anyone looking for a great place for a hearty breakfast. Everything is just right here – from the service to the food. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
Thanks to the whole team 🫶🏼
I must first point out that I appreciate the effort, in a city like Berlin where finding gluten-free options is a feat, to have gluten-free dishes on the menu. Celiac disease is an illness, not a whim. The possibility declared on the menu encouraged me to try this restaurant, I also have a celiac daughter who I try not to make feel always excluded. In the end, one of the two gluten-free dishes (chicken cutlet) was not available and the other one I ordered in its place, kebab and chickpeas, was delivered to me telling me that it was not guaranteed to be gluten-free. You should tell me this when I order, not when you hand me the dish. I really hate to criticize, but I hope this can be of use to other celiacs.
Cozy, instagrammable spot with top-notch service and a wide range of premium dishes. Around for years, yet still down to earth! Highly recommend, vegan and gluten-free options available. Coffee is amazing too. Shoutout to Jason for the great hospitality!
Gluten free pasta - and very good! Pizzas are huge. Moderate prices. An excellent find. Pasta with salmon, a mixed pizza, a glass of wine, 0.5l beer and small bottle of water all for €66.
They have gluten-free food. They strictly follow all the necessary protocols to avoid cross-contamination. The food has good value for money and tastes like homemade food.
Regarding their staff and service, there are some things that need improvement:
1. The bar staff is not very communicative, so you might feel ignored.
2. I can understand (as was my case) that the same person preparing drinks might not be able to take orders at the same time. However, it's unacceptable to let a line of people form because the restaurant doesn't assign another person to the bar to take orders.
I appreciate the receptionist for informing me about the average waiting time between placing an order and receiving the food (in this case, about 30 minutes). Other than that, everything was fine. It's a place I recommend for eating.

Great location in the Heckmann-Höfe. We sat in the winter garden. Pleasant atmosphere. You can choose between a la carte or friends dinner. Extensive selection and also vegan-gluten-free options. Time window limited. Ours was 2 hours. Reservation essential. No show cancellation fees. Recommendation for a convivial gastronomic get-together.
We recommend! We celebrated my great aunt's birthday here at the end of August and had a great time with delicious food and good wine. All 14 guests really enjoyed themselves, which was definitely due to the very nice and competent staff. I also received very friendly advice in advance and everyone made sure that we had a great and unforgettable evening. The restaurant organized two small bouquets of flowers and a Sacher cake and decorated the table very nicely, including white tablecloths and menu cards created especially for us. In addition to the classic Austrian dishes, we also cooked vegan and gluten-free dishes. Really great!
Many thanks to the entire Ottenthal team for this successful evening!
Food and service are excellent. I am gluten-free (celiac) and Sabine and her team made sure all items served to me were safe. Others at my table were not gluten-free, and everyone gave rave reviews.
Do arrive a bit early to enjoy the rooftop view of the Tiergarten, Brandenburg Gate, the surrounding buildings, and the Berlin skyline.
I felt that the atmosphere was good enough to be considered the best among Japanese restaurants in Berlin. It may feel a bit dark, but you can focus on the sushi. It feels like a lot of effort went into the sushi, and of course it's fresh. They seem to pay attention to many aspects, including plating, soy sauce brush, and gluten-free soy sauce. The drinks they make themselves are also quite delicious, so I want to order them again next time.
