I recently went to Birdys for my birthday. Had called in advance about celiac ( gluten free) left a message on the phone. When we arrived our server informed us they don't listen to the messages. Our waitress was rude maybe her experience was from slinging beer in a biker bar. When we ordered our entrees the pasta was to be gluten free. Then our orders arrived : no pasta for our guest. So we all ate our dinner while one person sat with no food for over 25 minutes! No complimentary drink nor on the bill. My beef was actually so tough my dog wouldn't eat the leftovers. It used to be a great place but never again.
I cannot eat gluten or dairy so it's hard to find restaurants that accomodate. I was very happy that they were able to make me a gluten and dairy free French toast! Thank you, it was delicious!
Trouble was our server, she was AMAZING! she was friendly and when my burger had onions on it (i hate onions) she made sure to take it back and get a new one! i’m someone with celiac and she made sure i have a gluten free bun on my burger and my fries were made in a seperate deep fryer from everything else! she made sure to accommodate me and my partner to the best she could! definitely recommend her and this store!!
We've stopped at this iHop a few times now while passing by on our way to, or from, Toronto. LOVE their gluten-friendly pancakes! We stick to weekdays when it's not as busy. A little pricey, like almost everywhere else these days, but worth the visit.
Our server was very knowledgable about gluten free. Not a lot to choose from that is gluten free and celiac safe but the natchos. They have a designated fryer for the corn tortillas. All the toppings were safe as well. I was very happy because, as luck would have it, natchos is a favourite of mine!
Poke Bowl is my one go to when I'm in town for shopping or appointments. Food is ready to serve and the varieties are endless. I am always greeted with a welcome smile! They even cater to people who are gluten intolerant. Love this place!
Great Indian food. We had chicken korma, butter chicken and curry chicken. Very flavorful and excellent portion size. All gluten free. Each of these dishes comes with a large portion of rice included.
All around $11-13 each. Great price for what you get and made fresh while you wait. Friendly staff. Take out and limited eat in. I believe 2- 4 seat tables and 2 - 2 seat tables. Highly recommend this restaurant. I support small local restaurants.
Nice little spot to grab a bite to eat, love that there are gluten-free and vegan options on the menu.
I had the classic and a strawberry milkshake and both were really good.
I am gluten free and vegetarian. Finding food which can be decently healthy and affordable is not always easy, but, so far, pita pit has not disappointed. More options for me compared with Extreme pita.
