Called in for a quick meal on the way home and was very surprised at the number of GF options that were available . My wife would not normally have a hamburger . Being a Coeliac she is very careful , however as a GF version was available she thought that she would try. quite impressive - could not finish it as it was a large meal. Food was well priced also Service was very attentive and prompt - well done. However - the coffee - very weak . I understand some people like half strength coffee , but not for us - it most definitely needed at "least" a double shot. But , well done , we will dine again

Lovely upscale bistro atmosphere and excellent flavours. Excellent friendly service that never let us run out of water, and promptly fixed and comped one small issue with a dish without us having to request. Most of the menu is gluten free which is great to see. Note- bathrooms have not been renovated like the rest of the restaurant building and it sorely needs it. Could do with more non alcoholic beverage options.

We passed through Dunkeld on our way south from Halls Gap and stopped for lunch at Izzy's Cafe. The experience was beyond our expectations of a cafe in a small town. I am gluten and dairy free and have rarely enjoyed a toasted sandwich prepared to my specific needs as much as the one at Izzy's. My husband's 'normal' sandwich and coffee were perfect too, in his opinion. The sandwiches, coffees and milkshakes were simply delicious, so much so that, on our way home from Hamilton, we passed through Dunkeld again and stopped for another taste of Izzy's. The Cafe is cozy and the atmosphere welcoming, the menu extensive, the prices reasonable and the service is warm and friendly. We had the added privilege of enjoying an interesting chat with Sam, business owner, and a fascinating philosophical discussion with her mother, Rita. We would certainly visit Izzy's again and heartily and unreservedly recommend Izzy's Cafe to all locals and visitors. Show less
