Tried Cowboys club again last weekend. Happy to report that the GF garlic bread was much improved. Well done to the kitchen crew. Still a tad expensive. A constant problem people with a gluten allergy. Always paying more and getting less.

Located at The Ville in Townsville, Quarterdeck is a cool spot for food and drinks. The restaurant is on the first floor of the hotel and you order the food at the counter. You have to find your own seating so depending on the time, the place gets pretty crowded. We got there around happy hour and it was very busy. However, the overall experience was nice. The restaurant service was friendly and professional, the food was good and the view of the hotel was beautiful. On the menu, there were vegan, vegetarian, dairy and gluten-free options. We ordered the hot seafood platter, bbq chicken pizza and prawn crusted barramundi. We really enjoyed all the food and we were happy with the pricing as well. Overall, we recommend this place for the food, the vibe and the view.
