Was excited to try this restaurant as it came recommend for gluten free dining. We enjoyed a tasty pasta dish and flatbread, with very generous servings. Prices are a little higher but one pasta dish and flatbread was plenty of food for two adults to share.
Fantastic dining experience. Lots of Gluten Free options, which us why we came, but we were delighted by the warm welcome and fabulous service. We will definitely be back.

WARNING TO ALL CELIACS AND THOSE ALLERGIC TO GLUTEN AND LACTOSE!!! (Vegans too, I guess)
*Next day - My gutts have reacted to my lactose allergy, and it's bad... I clearly received lactose as well as gluten in my food. This Grill'd is a joke and should be shut down. Or maybe delete all the staff and management, and replace them with a team that is trained in allergy awareness. Being vegan isn't a disease... Celiac is! And lactose and gluten allergies are serious business.
I told the staff I have celiacs disease. To be fair, I am not celiac but I have severe gluten allergies. Usually when you tell the staff you have celiacs disease, they take you seriously. But these guys, they don't care...
I am now suffering severe pain from gluten being in my food... The food has made a serious impact on my gluten allergy and now I'm suffering hard... This is very unacceptable and I will be contacting the necessary food authorities to inform them that you have very unsafe work methods. It's lucky I'm NOT celiac because that's a very serious auto immune disease and your company needs to take this a lot more serious.
Everything I ordered was gluten free, including the sauces. Clearly I've been served food that was heavily cross contaminated. You need to train your staff about cross contamination, and the severity of celiacs disease. Pretty pathetic that I have to even tell you this, and that I need to deal with this on the first holiday I've had in over 15 years... Very sad indeed.
To top it all off, they were playing really bad pop "music" and it was as loud as a night club š¤¦šæ "look at me I'm so cool brahhhh..." Pathetic... Do you not care about people with ASD either?
Caught up with one of my best mates who i hadn't seen in a year that lives interstate, He recently had to switch to gluten free meals so was very happy with the selection of products so he could have a good meal as well as myself.
The place was exactly what we needed, close to the beach, quiet, good food, and convenient. We were craving some vegetables and were able to have some fresh food, the soup was good, the calamari was quite delish! Great flavor and nicely crisp, would come back just for those. They also accommodate gluten free options, the waitress was great by making sure about it being gluten free which was really kind.
Absolutely amazing. Our family has food allergies and the wait staff were very patient and chef amazing and willing to adjust the menu for us. GLUTEN FREE heaven for our kids with hot chips and an accomodating kitchen for other menu items. Wish we found this place earlier in our stay great wine list and sommelier to help you choose what kind of wine you like. We will be back.
Super tasty burgers. However, you have to order fries separately. There would be a bit of a wait but there is a vibe here and it was really tasty! And there are gluten-free buns š
First time to Milk Lane. Food was fantastic. Definitely recommend trying this place for a feed. Cocktails were awesome too. They also do gluten free buns.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful experience dining at the restaurant at BMD Northcliffe surf club. We have a teenager who is Coeliac (Gluten free) the menu is fabulous so many choices for her, she felt very included which can be a rare experience for people with celiac disease. All our meals came out together and in good timing. The staff was very friendly and happy to answer any questions. Our meals were large, fresh, hot & delicious. This is such a relaxed cafe with amazing food and large portions and most important large variety of GLUTEN FREE options so great for a coeliac! also excellent value for money! meals are presented well and really leave you feeling satisfied. staff are polite and food is quick. Ate here twice over our 3 days stay as it was a must return visit the second time!
We had an amazing experience! It was our first time, from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out. Service was 10/10, all staff was super attentive, the food exceptional & the live music was so so great and overall the atmosphere was amazing. Even the gluten free option, the best burger Iāve ever had. We loved it!!!! Thank you. Highly recommend.
It's a bit of a random vibe. There was a giant group in for a buffet when we came but they were alright. The service is decent and the food very nice. Staff knowledgeable about gluten free. Toilet is in a nearby hotel which is bizarre. Staff are good. Well priced. No alcohol (Halal venue).
Iāve never been so impressed with a restaurants high quality service and consideration in terms of people with dietary needs or allergies. I am vegan and gluten free and was taken into consideration by the chef himself who altered dishes to suit my needs and brought them to me himself and had the courtesy to explain them. Majority of restaurants are unable to provide this so coming here tonight made my night and was very much a memorable experience. A big thank you to the chef and staffšā¤ļø
Great vibe, super friendly staff the standout being Tegan(apologies if Iāve misspelled your name)the gorgeous you g waitress who looked after me, nothing was too much trouble for her and she was very engaging.
The security guys at the door checking people in was also very friendly guy!
The menu has plenty of gluten free options and the food was great too!
Iāll definitely be heading back again.

Dined here two nights in a row. Chef was very happy to accommodate my dietary requirements with coeliac disease. Customer service was outstanding! Our host for the evening 'Guy' made us all feel special and greeted us like friends when we returned on the second night. Our two international waitresses were just lovely. Food variety was great...steak was awesome and pizzas were sensational.
Great venue the staff always so friendly we have been here for coffee in the morning and for drinks and dinner at night. Loads of gluten free options for my wife. Itās now one of our go to places to eat and drink when is surfers.
Beautiful restaurant and ambience. Wide range of incredible food and so tasty (and appreciate the gluten free options!). Special thanks to Tara and Kelly for their service, they were angels. Will definitely be back!
Ordered a gluten free and dairy free godfather pizza. It was the best, crust was the perfect texture, vegan cheese delicious and everything came together amazingly. Very happy.
Wife and I stumbled on this place and decided to get a sandwich before leaving for the airport. We were told it would take 7mins but it took 18mins to make a gluten free mushroom toastie. Other patrons ordered after us received their meals in a reasonable time frame but we were left waiting. There was only one person making sandwiches and the other 3 staff members were just standing around talking. Disappointed since we were excited to try but unfortunately the service and inefficiency left a negative experience.
Overall quality of the sandwich was decent but $18 for a small toastie seems over priced if you're comparing it to the regular sour dough option and we paid extra for the gluten free bread.
We had high hopes but the service definitely needs to improve.
We recently had drinks and finger food here for my husband's 50th after a restaurant lunch. From enquiry to event, exceptional service was provided and everyone had a great time. The staff were great and extremely accommodating, and the bar bites were delicious, even catering for our gluten, lactose and soy allergic guests. A huge thank you to the entire team!

I got lunch of a quarter chicken with roast vegetables and broccoli in a cheese sauce. Food was delicious and the serving size of the sides was very generous. The range of roast vegetables was great and there was even roast garlic with the vegetables! The sauce for the broccoli was gluten free, unfortunately the gravy is not gluten free, I didnāt need to add gravy anyway. The store is clean and bright with a great range of sides for roast chicken. I will visit again.

DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU ARE A COELIAC! I called up prior to a big birthday booking to ensure they could cater for me as I have coeliac disease and their website states gluten free. I was told over the phone that they could. When I got there I asked again and I said I get really sick, they said yes yes yes again. We sat down with family friends and ordered. The very first thing they placed on the hot plate was wheat noodles for a take away customer. Then weāre going to cook my meal straight after that on the same plate with same utensils. I was left with no dinner and had to watch my whole family eat dinner. Then find somewhere to eat late by myself after that.
A lovely high tea settingā¦small so not too crowded or noisy. The high tea itself was lovely, and we appreciated the diabetic and celiac options, though the gf bread not great, the rest really good and the service very very good. We will definitely book again. Parking was convenient right underneath with lift access and super straight forward for elderly family members to manage.
