An exceptional dining experience from start to finish! Our dinner for four at Rick Shores was nothing short of perfection. We were lucky enough to score the best seats in the house, which set the tone for an unforgettable evening. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding and our waitress deserves special recognition for her exceptional attention and vibrant personality. With a severe coeliac and a peanut allergy at our table, dining out can often feel daunting, but not here. Our waitress took the time to thoroughly address our concerns, offering thoughtful suggestions and ensuring every dish was prepared with care. Her patience, professionalism and undeniable flair made us feel at ease and her genuine kindness was the cherry on top. And the food—absolutely divine! Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavour. The kitchen’s ability to accommodate allergies without compromising on quality or taste was impressive and we’re happy to report our guest with allergies “survived the night” without a hitch. For coeliacs, this restaurant is a shining example of how it should be done. Rick Shores delivered on every front: ambience, service and food. Thank you for an evening that left us all raving. I love, love, love the fish tacos. I am gluten dairy free and this is the best food ever, so delicious. The staff are always really friendly too. Let’s support this amazing cafe while they have to put up with the ongoing road works. Highly recommended.

Great quirky atmosphere when you've had enough of "corporate" looking cafe's. Martine and her team always make you feel so welcome. Coffee's great and they bake all their delicious food in house. Lots of Gluten Free goodies too. Love it!! ❤️

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Maman Bar & Kitchen, and it was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with warm hospitality that made me feel right at home. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal with friends or family. The food was absolutely divine. Each dish was a delightful blend of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavors, crafted with care and made from the freshest local and organic ingredients. I especially loved that they offered a variety of vegan and gluten-free options, catering to all dietary preferences without compromising on taste. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and it was clear that everything was made with love. The drinks were equally impressive, with no-nonsense cocktails and a great selection of sustainable wines that perfectly complemented the meal.
