Every time I’m in the area, I have to stop here. I’m not vegan or gluten free, but the food is just good. It tastes good and it feeds my sole! I tend to go for the soups which are hearty and flavorful, but everything I’ve tried here has been spot on.
Nice regular NY style thin crust pizza and good calzones. They only have 3-4 individual slices and mostly sell whole pies (at $20 ish a large pie, 25+ options). Friendly staff, good amount of indoor and outdoor seating.
They also have gluten free and cauliflower bases. Additionally they sell Italian ices, calzones, heros, wedges, salads etc. There is a $15 minimum for free delivery in Pleasantville.
The pizza crust was pretty good and had a nice crunch while staying chewy. The sauce did need some help from the condiments to make it more flavorful. The calzone was packed with cheese and was definitely worth the $6.
I love it! No frills, just friendly, welcoming faces and the heavenly smell of pizza! The menu isn't big but from my grilled chicken pizza experience, I'm sure it's loaded with flavor! The pizza with chicken is made with fried breaded chicken and since I'm trying to eat healthier, the man accommodated me with grilled chicken instead. And I had every intention of bagging half my pizza to go but I'm a "gavone"... the pizza was too delish! Pizza from this place will be my gluten indulgence!
I love the pizzas and I had dried salami & olives on crusty Italian bread. Excellent! They make very good gluten free pizza and pasta that my son enjoys. We shared the pizza. He had GF Penne with vodka sauce.
