First time here 2.15.2025. Greeted by our server, Paige. She was good - did important things like keeping the water filled and involving Brandi the manager when we mentioned my wife had severe gluten allergy/must eat gluten free. The food and the atmosphere (sitting on the water with a nice breeze, waves crashing, and beautiful design aesthetics at the restaurant), literally couldn't have been better. For that I kind of understand why the food takes a while to come out (we were there about 30 mins before we received our apps) - it's an experience and you don't want to rush. At least I hope that is why it took so long. :) The price of the meal was expected since we had lobster, apps, crab cakes, and the wonderful location. We paid about $65/pp without alcohol and dessert. We will be back.
Place was busy, but we got a table for 6 right away. We have people with food allergies, but it was no problem they have gluten-free options available. Great place and affordable! A+
Loved this place! Great menu, friendly staff and owner, fabulous entertainment on a Thursday evening. The food was incredible. This was my first time here. I had a gluten free pizza, it was divine! Cannot wait to go back and try the gluten free ravioli! A must try!!!
Wife has Celiac, so traveling to Fla. we need to plan ahead. Saw the reviews and decided to try, what a great choice! Place a phone order, picked up in exactly 15 minutes. Service was outstanding and pizza (both gluten free and traditional) were some of the best we have had! Highly recommended.
It was decent food for a good.price and they were very nice and accommodating with my diet my only complaint is I am not sure if the gluten friendly pizza or the not breaded wings contained any dairy or gluten but I reacted ro something so if it is a severe gluten allergy you have I would be cautious bc it does not say gluten free and I did get ill.
I got the pizza only with sauce and veggies so I do not believe it was dairy I got sick from. The guys and the kids loved their dinner and we all had a great time. Very friendly staff, clean atmosphere.
Ordered gluten free with pepperoni, extra sauce and lite cheese.
You can’t get much thinner than this little crisp BUT the flavors were definitely there! So good! If you’re looking for doughy GF crust—this isn’t it. But I was still very impressed despite! Will be trying this place again.
I have a gluten intolerance and I felt very confident that I would not experience cross contamination eating here. These days that is getting more rare. The food was fantastic. It was extremely great valued and the entire family was pleased with their pizza or pasta dishes. Also everyone said the complimentary garlic knots were extremely good. If we come back to Bradenton we will revisit.
The food was excellent. We had a great waitress. We had no wait on Saturday night. Gluten-free pasta was available. I had the 6 hour short ribs with parmesan risotto. It was divine on the tastebuds. We ordered grilled artichokes with capers and a lemon sauce. Also, we had fried calamari rings, which were lightly breaded and tender.
Usually there are minor issues but tonight's order took the cake! As my family is eating I am having to cook my pizza the rest of the way through. I already have a note on my account to make sure they actually cut my pizza (yes this has happened) and to double check the order bc I am gluten free and my family is not (they have mixed up the toppings before on the pizzas) and now I had to call and request a note to actually cook my pizza and to ask where my red sauce was. Hey at least I got a credit for my red sauce! I think it's time to find another spot. What a bummer!
**update**
I got a response as you all can see. I appreciate the response but would appreciate it if you read my post properly and you would of seen that I got a refund for the red sauce I ordered that they forgot not for the under cooked gluten free pizza that I had to handle myself at home. I appreciate the pizza cooks explanation and your swiftness to see the review and ask your team but sadly we won't be returning. I shouldn't have to request so many notes to ensure I have a cooked meal that is what I actually ordered and decently cut, especially when my order was close to $50. I understand that this pandemic has been insanely rough but just admit when you are wrong, apologize without passing blame or watering it down and attempt to make it right vs shrugging it off and inviting me back to see if it all happens again. It's the decent thing to do when you have a business.
Our family of 5 really enjoyed our meal at My Slice. We arrived about 40 minutes before closing and we ended up being the last ones in the restaurant. Our server was very kind and accommodating and the food tasted great!
Only aspect of our meal that we weren’t huge fans of was how expensive it was. We got two pizzas and a dessert pizza & ended up paying close to $120 after tip. We did get gluten free crust for two of the pizzas, but still. That’s very pricey for a pizza spot.
I would definitely recommend! Just be prepared to spend quite a bit.
If we lived here, I’d return for sure.
Absolutely love their crispy thin crust pizza either regular or gluten free! They also have delicious gluten free penne which I pair with the sausage and spinach. Also great food for catering!
