We walked up and down Hawthorne to find just the right place to eat for our 8th anniversary and Cubo was the spot we picked. First of all, it has great dairy free and gluten free options CLEARLY stated on their large menus inside and out front. We just missed their happy hour but that's okay since their food is reasonably priced for the quality and portions! You order first and then find your seats. The guy that took our order with green highlights on his bun and a cool necklace was very nice, chipper and speedy with our drinks. Excellent service! We loved the vibe with all the bright colors and fun music playing. There is great outdoor seating on the back patio. Our food came out quick and was very nicely presented. I got the Havana bowl with a spicy blended margarita, and my husband got the Cubano sandwich with beer. My spicy margarita was delicious and definitely spicy. I think I will ask for 1/2 the spice next time, lol. Looking forward to coming back here again and tasting some more of their other delightful fresh dishes.

Everything was as expected. Nothing was exceedingly good but they offered gluten free options and we were satiated. Probably wouldn’t order, again.

Beautiful interior with many tables and abundant outdoor covered seating too. Gluten free options marked on the menu. Non- pork items also available. Very good omelet!
