The lady (sorry didn't get her name, but she had purple/pink hair) had noticed my birthday badge when I popped in to book a table. When we arrived at the table that evening there was a birthday card there for me and when my desert came out she had placed a candle in it and sang happy birthday to me. This really did make my day, she was very attentive to our group aspecially as we had 3 coeliacs in the family and she had made a point to leave the gluten free menues on the table along with the normal menues for us, which meant immediately that the coeliac members of my family felt included and not a nusince at all. Highly recommend

I have a feeling I came here some years ago but it's a bit vague. Anyway 6 of us had dinner here there is a varied menu and they have vegetarian and gluten free food and something for meat eaters,we all had something different from the menu we enjoyed it very much it's an expensive pub but worth the money. It's a lovely cozy pub they had the coal fire lit and it was lovely and warm. I would certainly make a return visit to this pub probably in the summer.

What a little gem! The food was beautiful, the service flawless and they cater with great care for anybody with allergies (in our our case gluten) we'll be back!

We popped in on Saturday to see if they do a gluten free Sunday lunch. After a moments thought, Simon said yes and the Sunday lunch he prepared was delicious, will definitely be going back.
