This was our first time here, it was a special occasion, and they went all out. I have to eat gluten-free, so appreciated so many delicious GF options. They have three dining experiences available but we chose the Wine Cellar, and it was perfect for us. The staff was incredible, extremely polite, friendly and professional.
This is a "must visit" restaurant!
It’s been a long long time since my husband and I have had that good of a Polish dinner! I am a celiac who has an extreme intolerance for gluten and the staff was extremely helpful to help me choose items that were safe for me! I didn’t get sick and this food was AMAZING. Definitely worth the drive!!
We really enjoyed The Pier. The menu specifically lists gluten free options, of which there are quite a few. The food was absolutely delicious and the drinks were great. They also have a great selection of wines. Our server was very nice, funny, and friendly. You may have to deal with listening to disgruntled boat people (as we did from the folks at the next table who were displeased with something) but the overall experience was very good.
Very consistent and good. I have a gluten intolerance (the soy sauce used in sauces here has wheat in it) and the waitresses were happy to help and learn how to modify the menu. However, I would suggest not asking for your burger medium rare as mine was way undercooked - I did not send it back as I had ordered the olive burger and it was slathered with the olive aioli. The sushi rolls (all fish/seafood cooked or cured) my fellow diners and I had were surprisingly well made and tasty for a pub style American bistro.
Great food, but most importantly, they have a separate fryer for people who are gluten free, meaning my 7 year old son could have the gluten free burger and fries he craved! I highly suggest advertising this on the find me gluten free app and the other gluten free pages as you will for sure get business from people with celiac disease and those who eat a gluten free lifestyle.
