What a great surprise! We felt like Italian food for dinner and there are only a couple of options in Page. We chose Bonkers because they had gluten friendly options listed. It's very cool inside, a great atmosphere. The service was very good, and the food was excellent!
We all loved our meals, and are very glad we came. We might even go again before we head home next week. Highly recommended, it hits all the marks!
Thank you
A lot of gluten free options for people with celiac. The meats were cooked to perfection and the sides were few but delicious. The sauces were also gluten free. The staff were very friendly and professional. It was a beautiful day, so we sat outside. Very nice!
This stop was delightful. Calzone is HUGE, definitely shareable. My kids downed their burgers and noted they were SOOO good. I am gluten free and it proved more difficult to order. Even though they have gf pizza crust and buns, they quickly tell you that all their sauces have gluten in them. Thankfully I am not celiac. Prickly pear margarita = HELL YES (I got 2!)
Overall it was a win. Great atmosphere and pleased the kids (that is generally more difficult).
Cannot accommodate Gluten free while having gluten free items in menu. Please, if you are celiac, always ask extra questions because everything contains soy sauce and they do not use gluten free soy sauce. They were very nice but told me nothing is gluten free.
My friend and I were tired after a long day and craving food. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the ramen was, and then I definitely had a food orgasm with the gluten-free cheesecake. One of the best experiences ever! Highly recommend! 🩷🩷🩷
The soup was okay and the Grilled Cheese was great!!! I'm over 55 so I get the senior discount so it works out fine. There is a large menu to choose from and there were good choices for my friend that needed Gluten free.
Discovered this authentic Mexican restaurant while visiting Page, AZ with family. El Tapatio offers a variety of different Mexican dishes and even has numerous vegan and gluten-free diet options. This is a family-owned restaurant, which we learned has been a staple of the community for many years. When you enter, you will be surrounded by traditional colorful decorations, friendly staff and a vibrant atmosphere. Combined, we were made to feel welcomed, and to top it all off, they serve such large, oversized, mouth-watering dishes that will make your taste buds dance in delight. Everything we ordered was simply delicious and the serve was fantastic. A special thank you goes out to Alejandro and Edgar, who made our dinner a wonderful culinary experience. There is plenty of free parking to the rear of the restaurant with access to South Lake Powell Boulevard and to the rear, South 7th Avenue.
90% of the menu was out of stock at 8am. My husband has celiac, when asked to accommodate to have just eggs/ bacon without tortilla wrap, we were told they’re pre-wrapped, kitchen keeps taking these out, so it’s so hard to just not wrap one? Also offer sandwiches with GF bread, when asked server said they can’t make it (even though it’s on the menu) as sandwich is also “pre-done”, so why does it say GF above your head on menu as option? Also super slow, waited 30 min for coffee… do not go
