Wow, what a hidden gem. When i pulled into a leisure center, I almost drove off! Had a great gluten-free fry. With great care given. Wonderful view. Professional friendly staff. I would highly recommend it.

I read the mixed reviews before coming here for the first time so couldn’t decide in advance. Whether it was going to be good or not. BUT the food was fantastic! I’m a coeliac and the food they offered that was Gluten free and not Gf for my wife was just spot on. The sea bass was cooked perfectly and my Beef was tasty and the meat was so tender. The dessert, sticky toffee pudding, was amazing. The place has a great ambiance and service was also really good. If I had one moan it’s the Gluten free beer choice is the normal GF Peroni in bottles, rather than a Pint of something decent (think IPA or similar). If you’re not bothered with GF beer then this bar is well stocked and the outside courtyard is the best place in Larne to relax with a drink. Left feeling very happy with our choice of Olderfleet.

Carnfunnock cafe is safe enough for you to go there alone and the staf is nice and kind and the scones are very good and yummy and If your coeliac or following a gluten free diet there are options available that have been bought in rather than prepared/baked on the spot which is ok for me because they meet my expectations of what it's purpose is Oh ideally situated within Carnfunnock country park
