Literally my favourite cafe in the whole of Manchester. Words cannot describe the joy I feel when I come in and see what the owner has baked today. She is the loveliest woman ever, so chatty and has an incredible talent for baking. (And there is so much variety in the gluten free and vegan options available)

Amazing evening at mengarie last night. Such a fun venue with great entertainment. My sister is gluten free and the gentleman serving us (think it was the manager?) was brilliant, he knew exactly what he was talking about explained what was gluten free on the menu and made her feel completely at ease. This was so nice as often when eating out staff don’t understand it and my sister can be made to feel really different and singled out. Food and drinks were good, staff were super friendly, music was great and we loved all of the thought that has gone into the venue, ring lights etc! Would definitely come back! Thank you!
