Being intolerant to gluten, I can 100% trust Hand & Trumpet. Of all the times we've visited not been disappointed once. Menu changes, servers, ambience top notch. Wished other establishments would follow suitππ»ππ»
The food was nice, the gammon a little tough, but that's not uncommon with gammon. The place itself is nice and well spread out. They were really good for gluten free, had a separate menu and separate fryers for the chips.
What made the experience even better was our server, a lovely man called Peter (I believe). He was great- friendly, helpful and funny. Love that guy, thank you for the warm service Peter.
Been a couple of decades since I'd last been and it's changed a bit inside since then but still nice decor. We went for an anniversary meal and the team were very accommodating when some of us were delayed. Food was delicious and service excellent. The gluten free pastry for pies was especially appreciated.
