We stumbled upon fish box when looking for a last minute table, for 6 people on a windy, wet night! They couldn't squeeze us in straight away but told us to wait 25 mins and recommended a great bar up the road to try while we waited. The staff were so friendly and fun and we felt really welcome! The menu was great, loads of gluten free options and varied selection of dishes. Everyone in our party really enjoyed it!

On a recent stay in Tralee we found this absolute gem of a restaurant! There are two coeliacs in our family so when we heard they had gluten free pasta & pizza options we were curious !!! The food was magnificent! The staff were all so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable when it came to having gluten free options it made the experience all the more enjoyable! It was so well priced too! I would 100% recommend this restaurant and I will be back the next time I’m visiting the area.

I gluten,dairy and egg restrictions and have been waiting to enjoy crispy fish and chips again.......this place did not disappoint. Absolutely amazing! They were so friendly and accommodating. You can trust the high quality here and if you have dietary restrictions.

Good value for the money. Decent portions. Gluten free available. Fish chowder is very rich and creamy, absolutely delicious! And the gluten free bread was gorgeous, soft inside and crispy outside, soooo good, I really recommend it. The goat cheese salad (main) comes with 2 big goat cheese and lots of mixed leaves, carrots, pickled beetroot, nuts, etc. Staff is very friendly. My only suggestion to the place is to have a drinks menu, and change those sharp lights that shines straight to your face to soft ones. Other than that, great experience.
