I'm just going to strictly speak for the service here - Dave, who took our order, was really great at walking us through the options that work for our celiac son, and a way to get more out of our order (by just ordering the monster platter and the GF wrap and making our own wrap). I'd go again for anyone looking for GF options.
This place was very busy during the holidays. Many many MANY dessert options, including gelato, as well as what looked like great actual lunch food options too. They had decent vegan brownies (my friend said) and I had a very good gluten free triple chocolate cake! My husband had a coffee, and his friend had a fancy latte which had a picture on the top! Think slightly higher pricing than Starbucks but much fresher and better quality, as well as much more accessible for those with food allergies or sensitivities.
Everyone enjoyed their drinks and desserts, but it was a bit of a wait. This was the second time my husband and I had tried to go here with friends, the first time there was no seating left for 3, so we left, but this time we had 5 people and eventually we got seating. My husband and I were there for about 25 minutes waiting for a table for 5. We could have put a couple tables together ourselves, but I think they didn't let us do that because of fire-safety exit protocols, so we had to wait. There is self-serve water which is great. The place has lots of windows and comfortable seating of various types (arm chairs and regular chairs at tables). Highly recommend if you're visiting or living in Orleans, especially if you can go back at a less busy time.
We visited on a Saturday night f9r a family birthday. There were only three of us but 2 birthdays!
I've eaten here before without disappointment and tonight was no different.
The chicken burger was so big, it couldn't be finished. My suisse mushroom burger was fantastic! I usually get the Flamer burger but wanted to try something different. I also had the gluten free bun and truffle fries. It's been my experience that gluten free buns are like eating sawdust but this one was quite tasty and I'm willing to bet you couldn't tell it was gluten free. The last meal was a straight up Bite burger. It was cooked to perfection and we were all pleased with our choices.
We were stuffed after dinner but a surprise arrived! Deep fried ice cream. I've never been a huge fan but this was awesome. I think it was rolled in coconut and had a light sauce. Needless to say, it was demolished!
Thanks to Glen and our fantastic hostess ?Patina
Have to say being a boston pizza regular from sudbury, our server tonight (Gen) excellent job taking care of 23 of us, you were amazing, especially taken care of our son who has celiac, thanks..
I have celiac (gluten allergy), and they always take the time to make sure they can accommodate me. I love the atmosphere and the staff is always friendly. And they have added a GF dessert. :)
Great burger and wings. Gluten free bun. Very flavourful! Good atmosphere
A little slow but no complaints with golf on the screen and good company
Will be back for fish and trips
We hosted our engagement party here and Taproom260 exceeded our expectations. Hosein the general manager got back to me extremely fast when inquiring and even set up a call to discuss logistics. The AGM Christina was incredible and worked with our planner flawlessly to execute a great party for around 120 people. Everyone raved about the food, and we were able to create a signature cocktail for the event. Celiac options were also provided for our guests. Would highly recommend! We wouldn’t change a thing. The customer service was exquisite from everyone!
We went because they have Gluten free options. The food was great; we had empanadas and areas that were fresh and delicious. The decor was very cheerful and the music was lively without being too loud. We'll definitely return and recommend it to friends.
Amazing food and service. The owner is extremely friendly and serves authentic Portuguese food. The atmosphere and decor is great and so is the music. They accommodate to gluten free allergy and understand the difference between gluten friendly and celiac disease. They are also a peanut free restaurant actually they have zero nuts in the entire facility no peanut oils at all. I've eaten here 3 times now and each meal is tasty and well priced for lunch. I love the cod cakes and the French fries. I will be back again. Thanks for taking the time to ensure my meal was perfect and checking in on me along the way throughout the meal.
I've been here several times and it's always been excellent. The food is very flavorful and the staff is very friendly. I didn't care for the watermelon drink, though.
The portions look small but it's quite filling. Also, they're real corn tortillas so they're gluten free.
I would recommend this place to everyone.
There can be a bit of a wait to get your food, but they also offer up freshly made chips and homemade salsa which is yummy.
Got a burger and fries, specifically the law. The burger was alright but the patty didn’t taste seasoned (I.e. no salt) so it didn’t have a ton of flavour. They also forgot to put the ketchup, mayo, and lettuce on the burger. Fries were not the greatest, no salt or anything and tasted like they had been sitting around for a while, very dry and no crisp to them. Probably won’t order from here again.
Giving a three because they had gluten free buns. For a 28$ burger combo I’d expect better.
