The worst food I have eaten in a very long time. Bivouac used to be amazing what happened?!
The fried potatoes which sounded like they would be crispy were chunks of greasy potato with a horrible sauce that left a weird aftertaste in your mouth. The crispy skin pork was stale and soggy skin. When I gave feedback I was told that’s because they cook it in the oven and fry it… not oh I’m sorry let me fix this. Ridiculous excuse. The chimichurri was not chimichurri it was like a weird tasteless spinach thing. The sauces were flavourless. Honestly it was hard to find anything I enjoyed at a once great restaurant.
I will say there are many gluten free options and the chicken wasn’t dry. Those are the only positives I can find.
We revisited a past favourite for a girls catch up for a longgg lunch yesterday. We enjoyed wonderful service, great food and cocktails - also, they allowed us to stay until the table was next occupied! Highly recommend.
The new Mediterranean menu was a hit. Excellent gluten free menu options.

Great place. On Thursday beer jug for 10$, great price. Gluten free burger very good. I loved my vegetarian burger! Came back for another. There are daily deals so check it out !
Really disappointed in our visit. I used to visit all of the time as it was a great place for gluten free, tasty food, staff were knowledgeable and service was good. Was disappointed to find that gluten free options were now marked differently, which suggested they may not be safe for me to eat. I asked the waitress if they could cater for a coeliac, she asked me what that meant and I explained, she looked confused and said she would check with the kitchen but didn’t - she talked to another waitress, seated other patrons and took their orders and didn’t return to our table. There were so few customers and plenty of wait staff but no one attended to us. We eventually left as we could not get any service. I understand if they couldn’t cater for me anymore, but I just needed to know either way.
This used to be my favourite restaurant, now we will not be returning.
I’ve now had 2 Bottomless Brunches at Neon Palms on a Sunday and they were both amazing, really good cocktails and yummy food and very good value for money, staff were awesome in looking after us and great vegetarian options and they cater for gluten free and vegan too which is great, shout out to Benjamin who makes a mean Tommy’s Margarita 🥳 highly recommend Neon Palms for your next Bottomless Brunches.
Went to the Oriental Breeze Restaurant for a friend's birthday dinner yesterday evening. My first time eating in a restaurant specialising in Saudi Arabian cuisine, I did not quite know what to expect. A little apprehensive, I was however excited to try something different, and was rewarded with some absolutely delicious food that was beautifully presented in generous portions, good value for money. I ordered the Kabsah with Lamb Shank, and was very pleased with it. Next time, I may try the Saleegue with Lamb Shank, which a friend ordered and was equally impressed by. With a decent variety of gluten-free options available, I'm looking forward to returning to this delightful restaurant and highly recommend you do yourself the favour of a visit too yourself.
