The mellow mushroom never disappoints with their wide variety of gourmet pizza options! On this particular occasion we had taken my grandson there as a celebration after his pinewood Derby event. He is gluten and dairy-free. Very few places offer options for him. We really appreciate their eclectic and caring choices in their ingredients.
Blaze Pizza is an absolute gem! The atmosphere is warm and inviting鈥攑erfect for hanging out with friends or enjoying a casual meal with family. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and always in a great mood.
I love the experience of watching them prepare your pizza right in front of you, using fresh ingredients and letting you customize it just how you like it. They offer a wide variety of flavors and combinations, including gluten-free options and fresh salads for those looking for something lighter.

Found this place by accident a month or so ago and we stopped by for the third time today. Our server Hope was phenomenal, she was very attentive and on top of everything!! She was so patient when I kept getting distracted with my kids. I explained how my daughter was picky and she was so understanding, I didn鈥檛 feel rushed at all. The food was great,and I LOVE the gluten free options but the great customer service takes the cake. 10/10 recommend, thank you Hope!!

This restaurant has a much nicer ambience than most Mexican restaurants. Service is friendly and courteous. Foods is excellent.
On this day, I got a lunch sized beef chimichanga. They used a nicely speeded beef that was shredded but not stringy. Flavorful. My daughter got the chicken fajita lunch special with corn tortillas, making not that she had a gluten sensitivity. It came out sizzling and she said it was delicious. Everyone Eldar in the party enjoyed their meals which came out really quickly. We also got their signature guacamole which they make right at your table and to your desired spiciness.
Overall, I recommend this wonderful chain of Mexican restaurant.
I have a gluten allergy and this was the best meal I had in Richmond. No reactions at all. I had a turkey Reuben on gluten free bread. I ate the whole thing and I NEVER do that!! They were very accommodating and the menu is excellent for a small local place. Lots of choices. Would definitely recommend. My husband can eat anything and he said he thoroughly enjoyed his breakfast/brunch. Can鈥檛 wait to go back. It鈥檚 my new go to when I鈥檓 in town. Only regret is that I didn鈥檛 try this place when I lived here!! Go try it!!
The burgers are good and the skinny fries are not bad.
I like how they have a turkey burger option and gluten-free and whole-wheat options for the bun. I haven't tried those yet, but I want to next time.
