Food here is almost always great. They have fun options that range from burgers to pasta and fish and chips to salad. My husband love to order the steak wedge salad. They are great at gluten free options.if you like lots of tvs and noise, this is a good place to go, it is something we personally don't love though. The service can vary a lot. Sometimes it's fantastic, but often we keep wait staff who doesn't check in a lot and on occasion, we get forgotten. Overall, it's a good local vibe place to eat with seasonal offerings. Be sure to not go during peak times unless you have a reservation or want to wait though.
We went to Angie's for the first time today. They have gluten free pancakes!! The food was fantastic! Everyone was super friendly and it was clean and nice. Definitely recommend!!
A fun family restaurant. The salad bar, pasta bar, and pizza bar are solid. A note on gluten-free: the pasta bar has gluten free pasta included with the regular price. To get gluten free pizza, you have to separately purchase.
I love this place. They take extra care when you have gluten allergies to make sure of no cross contamination. They are always friendly and helpful when ordering. The food is always delicious and satisfying.
The worker was incredibly helpful and kind. She made sure we were taken care of, and made us a new thing of gluten free batter. Food was amazing as always.
I am celiac and had their Margie GF pizza with the balsamic on the side. I ate half the pizza and felt comfortable, which isn't always the case at other places. It was easily the best slice I've had in a long time. The crust was crunchy and soft, not oily, thin and perfect. Very much a NY style pizza (I'm from the shore, it's the best). I will be coming here again.
Only four stars for atmosphere though; there were only three clean tables and none were cleaned while we were there. It was a Sunday night though and seems more like people take out than dine in this day of the week.
Delicious Tex-Mex food. The refried beans here are my favorite in town and the horchata is amazing. The portions are absolutely massive, ordering one entrée here is two meals for me. I love getting the burritos with some guacamole.
This place is also great as my girlfriend has Celiacs and cannot eat gluten. Our waitress found someone who could answer our questions and guide us through the menu, as well as the fact that when we found out the chips were bio-contaminated they let us bring in our own gluten-free chips for her to eat. We were able to have a nice dinner out with very little hassle.
Pretty decent. Looks unassuming from the outside as it’s tied to a gas station (the person who greets you appears to work both the gas station cashier and the hostess stand). This was my first time trying Indian, so I stuck to the chicken biryani, which was flavorful . My mom had the shrimp biryani (which she said could have been a little less tomato-y). My brother had the pineapple chicken - he didn’t really comment on it but I think he liked it. They shared a dosa which my brother loved. For me, the best part was the pina colada lemonade - phenomenal! And it had free refills. The chai tea was not good.
My main recommendation is the dietary allergen markers in the menu are inconsistent- some items are labeled correctly as containing gluten or if it’s vegan. But several items were missing the label (such as all the desserts). Please correct this so folks like me who cannot have gluten or milk can order more easily.
Their cheese curds… you won’t regret it. Goat cheese app is awesome. I always go towards the baseball steak but there are so many good choices. It’s a place you know will be good whatever you get :P (also have great Gluten Free options)
Costa vida is a fantastic place to go when gluten free. They are always so good to wash and change gloves when I ask so that I don't get sick. The food tastes great. This particular Costa Vida has a fantastic atmosphere. I want to give a specific shout out to Adrena who was making sure the restaurant was clean. This was the cleanest Costa Vida I've ever been inside and I attribute that to her. It definitely made my lunch experience and the atmosphere that much better to have such a clean restaurant!
I have Celiac, so I try to make sure I leave a good review if a place does well. Our waitress, Gabby, actually knew what Celiac was, warned me that the chips were from a shared fryer, made sure that they cleaned the griddle before making my food, warmed my corn tortillas up on tin foil and were mindful of cross contamination. Service like that really makes a world of difference for someone with dietary restrictions going out to eat. It makes the experience less stressful and feel more normal. Thanks again Gabby!
I don't dine in very often. I appreciated our server wearing a mask! The food was delicious and served with sufficient time between our appetizer and our main course. Dessert wasn't offered to us but being gluten free there wasn't anything for us anyway. Server was attentive but not in our face asking how we are doing all the time.
Took my Mom here for breakfast and it was wonderful because she was able to enjoy the gluten free muffin. Soon after our visit they quit carrying them. Guess we'll have to look for another place on account of that. It's a shame to because the food was delicious and the service was pleasant as well. If they still carried gluten free I'd have a 5 star review.
