I came across this spot thanks to a friend who recommended it when I needed to use the restroom. It was so nice that I decided to stay for dinner before heading home—and I’m so glad I did! As a vegan, finding satisfying meals can be challenging, but the California Grill and Bar did not disappoint. The lovely hostess seated me right away, and within minutes, Andres, my waiter, arrived. He was kind and incredibly accommodating to all my dietary restrictions. The restaurant offers both an Impossible Burger and a Gardein Burger, but I decided to go for a veggie wrap. Unfortunately, they were out of gluten-free wraps, but Andres recommended a lettuce wrap instead, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice! The wrap was so big that I ended up unwrapping it and enjoying it with a fork and knife. The ingredients were incredibly fresh—the carrots were shaved thin, the tomatoes were thick and juicy, the red onions had the perfect crunch, and the sprouts were just right. The lettuce was fresh and had a satisfying snap to it, and the avocado was buttery smooth. I requested balsamic dressing on top, and it was so vibrant and flavorful that I found myself literally dancing in my booth! The fries were also a highlight—perfectly crispy and fried in vegetable oil. To complete the meal, I ordered a strawberry lemonade, which was so delicious that I asked for a refill. If you’re looking for a delicious vegan meal with fresh ingredients, California Grill and Bar is the place to go!

Food was excellent! I'm gluten free (allergy) and there was enough for me to choose from for an enjoyable meal. Wish they would carry tamari or Kirkman's gluten free soy sauce so I could have the spicy fried rice!

Joar, Shaun, Arleo, and Melody are the absolute best bartenders (and servers). They constantly are very attentive and kind. The drinks are amazing because they have a ton of options from homemade root beer and they even have 6 different sober cocktails. Some are even related to the monthly specials which is super rare to see anywhere! I don't like the taste of alcohol but the things they are able to come up with are nothing short of incredible thanks to Arleo (the bar director) :)! Everyone is super nice and the food is incredibly good too. The brunch was magnificent so keep an eye out if they decide to bring that back. The chicken tenders and beef sashimi are my favorite and they are both gluten free ^_^!!! The charcuterie board is huge and beautifully priced. It even comes with a beef fat candle that is edible!
