Food was fantastic my wife is a coeliac, our server Alex T was very attentive and we ordered off the GF menu, we will definitely be returning.
Fabulous
They have a gluten free menu, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. They are very careful with coeliac disease and made sure my food was cooked separately.

I have had mixed experiences. Half of the time I've had an incredible gluten free pizza, the other half it was thin and rock hard. If the experience was more consistent, the high price would be justified, but unfortunately it's a gamble every time I order
Disappointing. Had a gluten free pizza. Tomato sauce and cheese were sparse with some ham and mushrooms
Ate less than half. Offered free dessert.
An Italian restaurant which is unable to create a pizza is to be avoided.
Won't be back.
Really friendly service and well-looked after by Keesha. She dealt with my gluten allergy and recommended dishes. The summer menu is delicious and loved the burnt Basque cheesecake. I know I can always rely on Waggas to deliver tasty gluten-free food and l really enjoyed the North Atlantis G.F. IPA.
Thanks Keesha and team for another enjoyable evening.
Prebooked a 2 course Christmas meal with friends. Mainly due to gluten free options available. Food was delicious.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Extensive drinks menu - i tried a few coctails and tye salted caramel martini was amazing! Absolutely will be back in the new year.
Coeliac friendly. They have a lot of gluten free options including gluten free burger buns. Fries are cooked in dedicated fryer and manager takes the gluten free order. Highly recommend.
Me, my son and my sister visited this Pizza Hut today for lunch as part of our weekend in Manchester. Although both the Waitress and Manager were very welcoming, smiley and kept checking up on us one of the spoons which was given to us for one of our cookie dohs was dirty and one of our gluten free pizzas was burnt around the edges.
Very enjoyable sushi. Staff were very knowledgeable on gluten free options, although providing allergens on the regular menu would be a lot easier than providing an allergen menu. Our servers were great, we had Tom and a pleasant woman who knew about GF options
Our first visit and my daughter who has autism was shown to a quieter part of the restaurant by the lovely Abbie and made to feel valued as a customer. We were looked after really well and Abbie even refilled our drinks for us as my daughter would have struggled in front of other customers. The pizza we chose was a make your own option and was absolutely delicious! The thinnest base I've ever seen and they also have a gluten free option on the menu, which is fantastic for anyone with dietary needs. We will definitely be return-Mags Dwyer
My husband and I really enjoyed our time here. Food was delicious (they do really good gluten free pizza too), atmosphere lovely and service spot on! Alejandro was fantastic. We really enjoyed our time and prices were also good. We'll be back next time we're in Manchester.
Absolutely brilliant as usual!
Our daughter got engaged on the Amalfi Coast so we HAD to come and weren’t disappointed! Brilliant service( as always!) and great food. I’m coeliac and it’s never a problem . Great gluten free pasta and everything else. Wine pairing was terrific and our waitress was really well trained and knew her stuff. Totally recommended and excellent value!
Me and my partner went to Pizza Express earlier this evening and it’s safe to say I will not be returning. Our food came out at the same time but there was a clear difference in the presentation and size. My partners pizza took up his whole plate, had plenty more toppings and looked more edible. Mine on the other hand was a whole different story. The pizza was no larger than my hand, barely had any cheese and the pepperoni was burnt to a crisp. I believe this is because of my celiac which is unacceptable considering this is an autoimmune disorder that cannot be helped. The service was unsatisfactory, this may have been because the restaurant was busy, but no guest should have to wait 15 minutes to get the bill considering there were plenty of waiters around. Despite this, we were seated fairly quickly, the food came out not long after we ordered and my partner enjoyed his pizza and dough balls very much.
We picked Sam’s Chop House for our first night in Manchester and it was the perfect choice. We wanted some proper local food, plus one of our friends has a gluten allergy, and they promised on their website they could accommodate it—which they did, no problem at all.
The food was amazing and came out quickly, but what really made the experience was the service. Our waitress, Jaye, was an absolute gem—super friendly, attentive and even took the time to give us some great recommendations for drinks afterward, even if the restaurant was packed and we noticed she was super busy. As tourists, that extra touch made all the difference.
If you’re in Manchester and want great British food with top-tier service, this is the place to go. Couldn’t have asked for a better start to our trip!
Absolutely amazing time here to celebrate a birthday with their premium bottomless brunch - they catered so well to our large party and were amazing to my friend who is gluten intolerant as he got served a full platter to himself. Very attentive from start to finish and we would definitely be going back for one of their tasting evenings!
Strongly recommend for anyone who is wanting a different take on a bottomless brunch - lots of great cocktails available and a fantastic treat.
Good service at this busy restaurant.
Great food too. I think the spice level is toned down for the local palate. They also cater for vegans and gluten intolerance, so everyone can go and get some tasty food
Booked by my daughter who’s Coeliac as this is one of the few places she can eat in Manchester. We ate our way through much of the menu, all of which was great, of course daughter could only have the GF options. Left room for puddings which we agreed were delicious. Washed down with a large jug of sangria the restaurant ground floor is popular and bustling - even at 6pm on Saturday evening - so best to book. Staff were very friendly and attentive
Very good, and gluten free options too! The service was great, we had all you can eat steak, and they do a gluten free alternative. The only difference was they bring you gf bread and the salad without croutons everything else is the same! our server Rohan was lovely. Great experience, good value for money.
We had a family gathering of 20 adults, plus 1 child & 1 toddler. Staff were fantastic, allowed us to use our own playlist & pay separately.
Food is delicious, between us we ordered too many to mention, including veggie, and gluten-free vegan; all dishes excellent.
Menu is varied, not run-of-the-mill fayre, and definitely not overpriced, averaging at about £20pp plus drinks.
Highly recommend Wah ji Wah, go with your friends, your family, on a date, or solo, but definitely go.
Thanks to the chefs, waiting staff & kitchen staff for a truly memorable evening with fantastic food. *****
What a meal! The insalata caprese and risotto were superb. Then when I lamented that I couldn’t eat any of the desserts because I’m gluten free, they offered me an off-menu gluten free chocolate cake! That cake elevated the meal to a whole new level. 10/10–can’t recommend highly enough!
