I have been to a few of the restaurants owned by “The lounge” and everytime I have been glutened I’ve had to ask about so many things on the GF menu even the coleslaw which by the way at the time wasn’t gluten free….the food is always amazing however I feel the risk is quite high for coeliacs like myself….

We booked our meal to celebrate our wedding with friends and family as we've visited lots of times and knew that we would be well looked after. On the day Phoebe was fabulous and swiftly sorted out a few slight issues with our orders. We really appreciated the restaurant getting a vegan gluten free cake especially for us so that we could all enjoy a dessert together. The gluten free pizza base is the best I've had! The restaurant is fabulous for vegans and those who need gluten free options.

Menu was varied, but disappointed that they didn't have any GF bread available. The soup had to be sent back to the kitchen as they'd put croutons on it, even though we ordered gluten free. Waited a long time for our main course. Food was very tasty and decent portions, we ordered the evening specials. Didn't bother with dessert as there were no gluten free options available.

The staff here are wonderful. We ordered takeaway for 4 meat eaters, 1 gluten free and 1 vegan. The gentleman was very cheerful and polite on the phone. They catered for my vegan diet and let me choose the level of spice as well! Lots of gluten free options on the menu. When we went to collect our food, the restaurant was clean and decorated beautifully. We were even given complimentary chocolates (and a lollipop for the vegan!) Everyone was pleased with their food. An overall lovely experience.
