We just had my birthday dinner here with my husband, parents and grandmother and I will recommend it to everyone. Our server Luigi started with the history of the building, and had us laughing in minutes with his charming anecdotes from Italy. It was like we got entertainment with our dinner… it was so memorable.
The food was delicious, we all had different meals and did not have one complaint. Smoked pork chops, battered fish and chips, prime rib and blackened chicken taco salad.
Being my birthday I was given a free dessert and they even accommodated my gluten allergy with a flourless chocolate brownie in cherry sauce. Absolutely delicious.
But Luigi charmed us, left us absolutely breathless with laughter and swept my grandma off her feet by walking her out and serenading her in Italian. She said she’d never had so much fun. We are full of gratitude and I hope someone can share that video with me of the serenade :)

We explicitly asked if the tuna bowl was gluten free and our server told us it was. We took our order to go. After eating it we saw a small note on the box that said sauces are not GF. My daughter has been throwing up since she ate. Very very disappointed.

Have to say the food and service are +10….. Great menu selection, and also a good bar menu if interested. They also have gluten free and a kids menu also. They make sure you have a great portion of food, and you can see how the staff and even the managers are working. D making your experience a good one.
This was my first time in this location and I really enjoyed it. We took my mom for mother's Day. I was a little disappointed that they didn't have specials for mother's Day, but that's not a necessity.
The food was quite good. 2 of us has the bison burger and the last had a French dip. I would recommend them both. The gluten free options were pretty good, but I think they could be better. A separate fryer or buying gluten free bacon bits would be easy. The sides were lacking for gluten free and the overlap of vegetarian and gluten free is surprisingly low.
The hot chocolates we had were quite bad. Not sure what they're using, but I would honestly just not serve it rather than serving that.
Edit: I spoke with Brandon the owner and agreed to come back. As previous the pizza and drinks were great. Both Brandon and his brother were apologetic and made sure we had a great time. While they could have just ignored it, they owned the issue which says a lot. We will be back.
I recently dined in at The Civil with some friends. I had heard great things about it and was eager to try it. On arrival our waiter, did seem relatively new to the role, to give this context, I have worked in Food and Beverage in 6 countries for large luxury hotels. He was pleasant and made every effort to accommodate. Received our initial drinks and they were well presented and tasty (Flights).
We ordered pizzas and my girlfriend made sure to advise the waiter she does have a gluten intolerance and ordered the gluten friendly specific pizza crust. When her pizza was brought out, I clarified with the waiter it was gluten friendly and he said yes. Immediately following ran back to the table to let her know he made a mistake and forgot to make that note for the kitchen and he would get it fired immediately.
To this point no issues and it was handled well. I understand mistakes sometimes happen and appreciated his sense of urgency in resolving it. They also waived the charge for her pizza which I thought was a kind gesture. The new pizza took approximately 18 minutes to come out of the kitchen. At this point everyone else is done eating.
What really left a negative taste in my mouth was the conversation I overheard between our new server and who I believed to be the manager. His words were "you need to go talk to that table, there time is up and we need the table, They need to settle the bill."
I can appreciate that they have policies in place and agree with the application of it, but at this point, my girlfriend has just gotten her pizza, is a slice in and we now have a waiter telling us its time to go. We were not here this long because we wanted to be, but rather as a result of you and your staff's actions, or lack there of.
I am disappointed that we were made to feel like we were an inconvenience in a situation that we had little control over. The pizza was great, and overall the service was okay, but in light of the way in which we were treated, I will not be returning and could not wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone else.
The oysters are very fresh, the stake is done to your liking, the sides are incredible, but I must mention the Bartender/Mixologist Karolina and her amazing creations, the latest is called "call me crazy" a mixture of tequila,grapefruit and other citrus with an smoked pepper finish, just delicious!!
Also the gluten free chocolate cake is to die for...
Roasted beet salad, red pepper soup and turtle cheese cake all gluten-free! Washed with it down with a peach sangria. Everything was great ! Eating out anywhere is expensive now so I cannot critique the cost.
To top off this evening our server Christina was absolutely fantastic! Attentive to gluten free requirements, patient and friendly, this earned her the largest tip I have given in ages.

The food was delicious, the wines were great, and the prices were reasonable! I really enjoyed the gluten-free pizza and the prosciutto-wrapped dates. I'll definitely have to try more appetizers next time!
This place is one of my favourite places to go! The steak is fantastic! They also, serve dairy free and gluten free options for people like me. Highly recommended. You won't be disappointed.
We have tried AAA Pizza twice now. Both times have been phenomenal. Pizza is delicious, topping are super fresh, service is great. Above what you’d expect for a pizza delivery.
First time we have their cauliflower pizza with lots of veggies. Awesome crust!
Kids had pepperoni, regular crust and really liked it.
Last time we had gluten free crust (in size large! This isn’t usually an option) with butter chicken sauce paneer and some veggies. It was so good. Also great crust. Both times we got their wings. They bake them tandoori style and they’re absolutely delicious. We were surprised with how good they were.

Fantastic experience, fast, hot and delicious. Gluten free pizza is the best I've had. They don't skip on toppings or cheese. Communication was easy, order was perfect and they delivered sooner than expected. Cheers to great pizza!
Had an amazing experience at this noodlebox location. The customer service was on a point and the noodle box was great, made with fresh ingredients. My friend tried teriyaki noodlebox and butter chicken box. I must say that butter chiken was better than many indian restaurant. I tried spicy peanut noodle box and it was amazing. Will be back again!! They also have gluten friendly n vegan options as well.
Genuinely horrible pizza. It's like Pepi went one by one through the ingredients to optimize how terrible each one could be. Terrible dough, no gluten structure, awful texture, no flavour. Ketchup like sauce with way too much sugar. Rubbery cheese. Suspect tasting pepperoni. Pepi has created an ensemble of flavours and textures that makes you question pizza itself (in a bad way). Would give 0/5 if I could. I hear the munchie subs are good though.
I attended Moxies for my first time ever this May 2025. I was very pleasantly greeted by Ruby the hostess who handled my food allergy to gluten extremely well. Also, upon meeting my waitress Mac, she did a tremendous job of handling my allergy and speaking to the back chef ensuring no cross-contamination occurred. She was very attentive and knowledgeable. And then was greeted by Jack, who also was very professional courteous and gave me a free appetizer for the next time I come in. When you have an allergy, it is greatly appreciated. The lengths that the staff went this evening. Also, the food was tremendously good with great variety. I will definitely be returning and bringing my family members as well. Our new favorite spot when visiting Kitchener! Our daughter and son-in-law just moved from the states and we were here visiting them. We came here two nights in a row because it was so so good! The first night we had the tapas small plates…olives, chicken nuggets, pork belly, scallops ….all were excellent! Service from Jack was top notch as well.
Second night we went back for the burgers and more chicken nuggets, and it was one of the best bacon cheeseburgers I have ever eaten! So full of flavor, it melted in your mouth, ah so good. My wife loved the lavender drink as well. They were very accommodating with gluten-free options… Their attention to detail was fantastic. The ambience and the staff are all very welcoming. Just what you want in a local restaurant. I’m a huge fan.
The staff was friendly and the burrito was delicious. They have many options to choose from, even vegan and gluten free. I had the Halibut burrito in a small size with a corn tortilla and l was more than satisfied. I will return again soon.
I love Eritrean and Ethiopian foods. that is why I use to enjoy Moya restaurant and other same restaurants. it is fresh meat, homemade bread or Engera is gluten free.
We used to go to a different pizza place but found they didn't cook the dough through so we switched places. We found Pizza Express and it's the only place we order from. The people remember our orders, which are usually the same, lol, and are super friendly when we call. We usually pick up and they are always on time with our order! Love that they make my little guy gluten free pizzas!
Delicious food and great friendly service! Went in to use the washroom not wanting to buy anything because I'm vegan but I took a look at the menu and they have vegan options. Also each day they have a deal and the day I went in they happened to have a deal on their vegan grilled cheese. Also multiple bread options which is good for me because white bread breaks out my skin! Also they have gluten-free options.

We came in for lunch and it was a wonderful experience overall! The store was clean, and the staff are incredibly friendly which really does just make the experience that much better. Definitely not like any other fast food restaurant! The food tasted great, and there are a few vegetarian and gluten free options which is appreciated. We had a staff member check on us twice to see if everything was okay and if we needed more sauce. I really appreciated this!
Excellent food, excellent family oriented service. My wife is celiac and Chef Alan came out and very thoroughly explained all food she could eat and gave his recommendations. We left very satisfied and looking forward until our next dinner.
Definitely a hidden gem. Went in unsure of what to expect, and was presently surprised! Very celiac friendly, best gluten-free tortillas I've ever had. Cocktails were so delicious!
Love this place! Always accommodating for a gluten free patron. The bar is a great spot to chat it up or watch a game & the bartenders are top notch! Try the parm fries (light on the truffle oil) with a glass of recommended red!
They were incredibly friendly, helpful and right on time. They have cheap pizza with excellent quality ingredients. They even have gluten free or cauliflower crust, and dairy free cheese!
