I'm super impressed with how my experience was. The cashier was super friendly, the food was amazing and is a hidden gem here in Birmingham! They also offer gluten free and vegetarian options!! I would go back in a heartbeat.

As someone who is gluten free, El Barrio is one of my absolute favorite restaurants in Birmingham. The food, service & atmosphere are always superb. I don't believe I've ever left disappointed. My only complaint is the parking, but they have a dedicated spot for curbside pickup.

Madison the bartender is so awesome and sweet! I come here regularly as they have so many gluten free options I get to actually enjoy my food that get what I have to. So amazing!

Not that crowded sat outside and viewed the beach. Compliments to the staff for taking my gluten allergy seriously. They even brought me my own chips and made me enchiladas with corn tortillas!
