Ordered through Uber eats at 8:01pm delivery said it would be delivered at latest by 9:10 that time came and went then it said delivery updated to 9:30 and at 9:35 zombrero cancelled the order completely and now because of the stuff around I have no chance of finding anything else that's gluten free. If you can't fulfill an order why accept it and wait an hour and a half then cancel it
Montezumas at Mooloolaba is well established and offers a great menu as well as an extensive drinks list.
We easily booked on line for 6pm and requested a booth for 5 of us. There was plenty of room for 6. They also offered tables both inside and out under the covered deck - at the entrance.) I’m glad that we booked at lunch time that day, as we may have missed out on a booth if we hadn’t.
The service was outstanding and the restaurant is well decorated with the Mexican theme. The team were well presented, fun, professional, helpful, friendly and kind. The young lady that served us was very impressive with her approach.
The menu offers a wide choice of delightful and flavoursome Mexican dishes. We enjoyed dips to share and a main each as well as several jugs of sangria. All were delicious and we came away very full. They catered well for my dairy free and gluten free diet.
Montezuma’s Mooloolaba is my favourite Montezumas restaurant. It is well run, is in a fabulous location and offers a brilliant level of service.
Staff were absolutely lovely, happy, friendly, and seemed to genuinely love their job. Food was amazing as always and the new gluten free wraps are delicious - even better than the old ones! Thanks for making my gluten free meal with extra care!
My friend and I visited Cactus Jacks at Canon Park just last Friday. We arrived for happy hour, which made finding a car park very easy. Although it was very easy for the both of us to get a carpark, I did notice it started to fill up significantly after 7-7:30 PM, around the time we left, as my spot was taken almost immediately after I pulled out.
We were seated within five minutes, at first a server walked up to us then immediately turned around before coming back which was a bit odd, but we were seated none-the-less. After seating, we immediately placed our drinks order and once those came out, entrees were ordered. Service at the start was pretty quick however as it started to get last 7pm, there was a noticeable drop in service speed. In saying this though, the mains didn't take too long to arrive. Regarding drinks (mocktails and cocktails), the service speed varied; sometimes they were delivered quickly, while other times it took a little while. I suspect this was just due to how busy the bar was at the time.
The staff were generally helpful, although it seemed to be a case of Murphy's Law - whenever we needed assistance, no one appeared to be free 😂! However, they were quite quick to respond once we managed to wave them down. We were seated in the outdoor area so I don't know if that influenced how well staff could see us to provide service but it wasn't anything bad which is why I'm happy to leave this as a 5 star review.
The food itself was brilliant; it had a good taste and we encountered no issues with any of our dishes. I'm a little sad that they discontinued Pepe's Rump for the fajitas, the alternative plain beef option wasn't bad. I still think Pepe's Rump was superior, but their recipe with the standard beef steak was still good.
Settling the bill was straightforward, and they were accommodating with splitting the payment, which made things simple for our group.
I haven't been to Cactus Jacks in a while, so it was good to return. I may consider visiting more regularly in the future.

Limited gluten-free and vegan options available however there were a few options.
Vegetarian options were easier but being Mexican focused, a fair few of the dishes were meat focused.
Service staff are exceptionally knowledgable about gluten free options, chef came to check if a friend was also gluten free, changed gloves, knew about cross contamination. Very happy.
Eating at a Zambrero is a predictable experience. I like that I can go there knowing what the choices are. I like the burrito bowl. You can choose what goes in your bowl - lamb, beef, pork, or vegetarian, plus salads and salsas.
The restaurant was clean, service efficient.
I noticed that they had gluten-free tortillas - I'll have to try one next time I go.
Nick was very helpful with my partners gluten free option, great service and lovely food would 100% recommend the beef I will definitely be back tomorrow to taste the lamb 🐑. Who knows maybe even the pulled pork 🐷

Had to give 1 star to leave a review not even worth the 1. Flies flying around in the cabinet, staff were really rude. When Zambreros is one of the few places you can get gluten free wraps when you are a Coeliac you do t mind paying the high price for a wrap. Today they made wraps gluten free black wraps, which were clearly stale as they were breaking and we they tried to double wrap and I asked them not to because it doesn't taste good. They then threw the whole wrap in the bin and told me I would have to choose something else because they don't make these wraps anymore! Nice work Zambreros for ruining a little 8 yr old girls day it's not her fault she has Coeliac's Disease.
I had the most wonderful customer service from a staff member tonight! She helped me with my takeaway order and made sure it was gluten free! Give her a pay rise ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
