I had dinner at True Food and it was excellent. Lots of menu variety for gluten free and vegan individuals. Our meatloaf (non gluten free) and burger were tasty, prepared exactly the way we requested. The service and ambience was outstanding. When you go, ask for Fernanda to be your waitress. She’s very customer oriented and kind. Emerson the Manager brought out our food and was very professional and helpful. True Food is a great place to eat!
This spot impresses with a variety of options for everyone, generous portions, and outstanding customer service that goes the extra mile.

Cannot speak more highly of Mejana. Ordered from them for my office’s staff lunch and there were options for everyone: vegetarian, gluten free, and meat. Prices are reasonable and portions are large. Staff is incredibly kind. Ordered from Grubhub for delivery, delivery was never confirmed by the 3rd party service, called the restaurant and they immediately said, “no worries, we will get to cooking and wait for the order to come in and call you when the order comes through and if a driver was assigned.” Mind you, this was Grubhub’s fault, not the restaurant! The hostess asked me to text them my order and texted me when it was ready since Grubhub wasn’t communicating with me. You can’t beat this kind of customer service. Love supporting this local, small-biz!
Experience a spacious spot with vibrant, authentic flavors and a variety of vegetarian options that make it stand out.

The pita bread for appetizers was light and soft. Hummus trio was perfect, especially the spicy hummus. Kibbeh was very filling so maybe don't order it if you plan to order a full entree as well.
I especially enjoyed my mouzat (slow cooked lamb leg with spiced rice). It was a lovely meal.
Great service, the place is huge so there were many available seats, good food.
They have lots of vegetarian and gluten free options.
Highly recommended.
First time here and I loved it! Serving size was awesome and probably one of the best food to price ratios in the area! Authentic and flavorful. Great gluten free options.

Had a lovely lunch at the LT cafe. I had never been there hefore and was very curious. The menu is limited which was a bit disappointing. But the shawarma over rice was delicious. The serving was huge and the price was right. Good place to shop for specialty groceries, too. I saw a sign that they even have gluten-free pita!
Experience a charming tea session with delightful mimosas, though expect a leisurely pace and a vibrant atmosphere with friends.

I attended the Cherry Blossom Tea this weekend with five friends, and it was pretty nice! Two people in our party had strict dietary restrictions (gluten free and dairy free), and they were perfectly accommodated. I do agree with what a few others have said about the service taking a while (our seating was at 2:30 and we didn’t finish until 4:30, making us a little late for a 4:45 event we were all going to). The tea was lovely though and the desserts + tea sandwiches were surprisingly filling! Not to mention the complementary mimosas were an added bonus. The price was a little high at $110 per person, but I guess it is the Ritz. We had purposefully picked this tea experience because it was supposed to be a little bit less compared to some other cherry blossom teas in the DMV, but it ended up being about the same. The restaurant was also a little bit loud, but overall it was a pretty good experience I’d recommend, especially if you have friends with dietary restrictions.
With a variety of sauces and a low carb veggie rice option, it's a solid choice for a quick, satisfying meal at the terminal.

I believe this was the best food option in that terminal. The pita tasted rewarmed-homemade, there were lots of sauces to choose from, and service was very professional and friendly. I think the meatballs were bland, though. The 12oz can of water had to be rung as a 20oz, and I felt it was overpriced. The food pricing is better than other airport food... 12$ something for the pitas and bowls. I wouldn't order the meatballs again, but the veggies and everything else was good. Although I was splurging on gluten today, I loved the fact that they offered a low carb veggie rice option.
Ok this may be my favorite lunch spot in the DC area. First of all the vast vegetarian menu is MUCH appreciated. I also try to eat gluten free and there are also many opportunities to modify to meet dietary needs. The menu is halal too so I have brought many friends with me.
I really like the veggie plate. Amazing falafel and grape leaves. The hummus is chunky and delicious.
Falafel pita also an amazing veggie choice! The French fry combo is an amazing deal.
Overall great quality and customer service. I love that the owner is eager to meet dietary restrictions. And the employees are so considerate.
