The restaurant offers a pleasingly wide range of gluten-free options, which, according to the staff, are also suitable for people with celiac disease – a clear plus for those affected and one of the few positive experiences of the evening.
Apart from that, the visit was unfortunately disappointing. The premium entrecôte we ordered was of inferior quality: served already in strips, the meat consisted mostly of cartilage and tendons. The desired degree of doneness was clearly missed on the first attempt, and even after re-cooking, the meat was completely cooked and dry. Although our complaint was acknowledged by the staff, we were more or less ignored thereafter – no apology, no follow-up questions, no concessions whatsoever. Overall, the staff seemed very stressed and overwhelmed during the summer season anyway.
The fish dish was no real compensation either – although it was properly cooked, it was completely tasteless. The vegetables served with both main courses were cold and seemed unpleasantly placed on the plate.
The sangria bianco turned out to be a weak mix, reminiscent of dry rosé wine with mineral water – at an inflated price.
Overall, a disappointing experience: The price paid was not met with any quality or service. Only the gluten-free options stood out positively – the rest, unfortunately, left much to be desired.
I recently dined at Cofradía Restaurante Las Aguas in San Juan de la Rambla and was thoroughly impressed. The fresh fish I ordered was cooked to perfection, highlighting the chef’s expertise in seafood preparation. The tomato salad was both abundant and flavorful, and the croquettes were delightful. The restaurant offers a variety of gluten-free options, catering well to those with dietary restrictions. The service was attentive and professional, complementing the meal wonderfully. The restaurant’s ambiance, with its charming decor and scenic views, provided a memorable dining experience. While some dishes are on the pricier side, the quality and experience justify the cost. I highly recommend Cofradía Restaurante Las Aguas to anyone seeking exceptional seafood in a picturesque setting.
Nice place to go to eat, if you are celiac you can eat perfectly, they also have gluten-free beer. The quality-price food is highly recommended, the views are very beautiful and the waiters are charming. Highly recommended place to go to eat at a good price, with good quality products. I highly recommend chickpeas.
We went without a reservation for dinner on a Sunday and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise! They have gluten-free pasta and everything we ordered was delicious.
Very pleasant restaurant both for the views and for the treatment of the employees.
The waitress explained to us all the dishes on the menu and those that could be made gluten-free. Almost the entire menu (except 3-4 dishes) is suitable for celiacs.
The food is very delicious and careful. A recommendable place!
Quite a discovery!
I ate grilled chicken, my husband had entrecote, we both thought it was very good! Unfortunately they didn't have gluten-free bread this day! And the sauce was not gluten-free 🥴!
The food is good and reasonably priced. They have gluten-free options. For a couple, I recommend two tapas and a meat main course if you want a light meal. The service is decent. It's a good option if you're visiting the San Antonio volcano and want to eat nearby, but it's not worth driving there just to eat there. I recommend booking in advance. On the downside, it takes a long time to bring the food; in our case, we were there for two hours. This would have been better if you were comfortable in the restaurant, but it doesn't have air conditioning, and it's very hot in summer, so the two hours to eat three bites seemed very long. I would recommend at least adding some additional fans (there is a small ceiling fan, but it doesn't do much).
Highly recommended! Delicious food! And the location is stunning with luxurious views, but without a doubt the highlight is the blonde waitress (I forget her name) who is very, very friendly! She explained everything in detail and always had a smile! We went with a girl who is celiac, and the waitress constantly explained everything that each dish included and made sure it was gluten-free! The price is a bit pricey, though. I think they could lower the prices on some things a bit... totally recommended.
Typical restaurant in a fishing port, family atmosphere and very pleasant, Beatriz very attentive and nice, she recommended us at all times taking into account that my partner has celiac disease... Great for celiacs. Fresh and delicious fish 😋... Without a doubt, if you visit La Palma and are in Tazacorte, it is a must stop

Spectacular, everything is perfect, the attention, the atmosphere and the food, without any problem with gluten, we will repeat the day we return to the island
Our favorite place.
The culinary experience, the quality of the food, the treatment of the staff, absolutely everything in this restaurant is wonderful.
We love going to celebrate anything with them, so we try to treat ourselves about once a month, any excuse is good to go to dinner there. A birthday, an anniversary, Christmas, a job promotion, etc.
As you would expect from a good seafood restaurant, the prices are in line with what they serve, so don't expect something cheap.
Normally we usually order oysters, a seafood platter and my favorite dishes are baked scallops au gratin and crystal prawns.
Another point in my favor is that almost everything is gluten-free, they control cross contamination and so far nothing has bothered me.
This week we are going to dinner again and I can't think of anything else, how delicious and what a treat.
Very, very recommended.
