The Hungry Tapir in KL exceeded all expectations! As someone who enjoys meat, I was initially unsure about a fully plant-based restaurant. However, their Nasi Lemak and Miso Ramen were absolutely divine. The Nasi Lemak was a flavour explosion, with fragrant rice and a rich, complex sambal. Honestly, I didn't miss the meat at all! The Miso Ramen was equally impressive, a comforting and umami-rich broth with perfectly cooked noodles. What really made the experience special was the amazing service. We needed gluten-free options, and the staff were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. They patiently guided us through the menu, explaining ingredients and suggesting modifications. Their attentiveness made us feel so welcome. The Hungry Tapir proves that plant-based food can be exciting and delicious. It's not just about substitutes; it's about creating incredible dishes that stand on their own. Highly recommend checking it out, even if you're not vegetarian or vegan. You won't be disappointed! The vibrant atmosphere and delicious food make it a must-try in KL.

This is my go to place since my kid got eczema and I need to satisfy my craving while avoiding gluten. I really love the gluten free pancake. The striploin salad makes you indulge yourself with steak like taste but with greens. My other favourite is truffle carbonate. The truffle taste really alleviate the dish.

The burgers were delicious. The staff was great, Sharon and Joe took special care of my friend who's allergic to gluten so she could enjoy hers Messi's Burger. There are veggies options as well. And a great band was playing!
