My son has celiac disease, and Erik’s has the best tasting, safe, gluten-free pizza! Their regular pizza is great, too. Always friendly and great customer service. Thank you, we are grateful for you!
I was coming in to Ocon to visit my dad over dinner time at his memory care facility and knew my sister loves Bella Gusto so I checked out the menu. I’m gluten free and low fodmap so was worried they wouldn’t have anything I could eat. Helpfully on their website were two email addresses so I emailed Elle to ask if they had any gluten free options. She responded within the hour and told me their pinsas were gluten friendly (and cautioned me that they don’t have a gluten free kitchen in case my allergy was serious). I was thinking what the heck is a pinsa?!? But I ordered one with Italian sausage and green pepper and mushrooms and let me tell you, it was heaven! I was afraid the crust was gluten full not friendly because it seemed more like real pizza crust than anything I’ve had in the past two years since going gluten free (it was def not and my stomach felt great after devouring it). It was chewy and crusty at the same time and the sauce was perfect!! And best of all I got to keep it all to myself. Plus it reheated super well in a frying pan on the stove with a lid the next day :)
I highly recommend this place for the customer service and the pinsas.
I can’t wait to go back and visit my dad (accidentally around lunch or dinner time most likely).
They say that their fried brussel sprouts and homemade tortilla chips are gluten free but they are fried in a shared fryer. So not for persons with Celiac's. The burger I had was very good and it was served on a gluten-free bun. I was unable to have anything fried like french fries or their homemade chips so I opted for applesauce.
Came here after a recommendation from a friend to try the chai here. Drinks were lovely, and the environment was super relaxing. Perfect place for me to get work done.
Inside a church so I was a little worried about feeling awkward, but it was actually really nice. The cup even had a cute saying "your worthy."
They also offer a drive-through. Cute small seating area.
Along with offering gluten-free free muffins.
I decided to give this restaurant a second chance after my first experience of dining in. Unfortunately the results were the same. The sushi was extremely disappointing. I have had sushi all over the United States so my review is based upon many experiences some outstanding and others not so much. VIP Sushi is in my opinion not worthwhile. I ordered a spicy yellowtail roll, the fish was dry, no flavor and had some type of crunchy bread crumb which I have never had in this type of roll. There was no spicy sauce drizzled on top. Nothing spicy about it and the crunchy crumbs triggered my gluten sensitivity. Also ordered 3 basic types of sushi, the salmon, tuna and yellowtail. The salmon and tuna were bland, lacking in flavor and it was difficult to tell the 2 apart, the yellowtail tasted fishy. The rice in the roll and sushi was overly sticky and gummy.
I was disappointed and needless to say I won't be returning. My meal cost $28.
The quest to find great sushi continues...
Love love love everything about this place. Only wish that they had more gluten-free options. Love the lamb lollipops, They have a seasonal menu as well and I love their acorn but are not squash soup. I think it's what it was called. It had some nuts on top with honey and then the butternut squash raviolis or it was pumpkin. I can't remember because it's been a while since I had it. I wish they had gluten for you raviolis that would be phenomenal.
