Can't get anyone to answer the phone to place an order and inquire about their gluten free menu. Was hoping to place a large group order, but...screw me, right?
Post reply: yeah, uhm...your voice mail box is full. My friend went in there to place our order. You guys had four tables. The hostess denied many calls in front of him. Y'all weren't busy and no options to leave a message. Everyone liked the food, though.
With over 300 beers and a great food menu, this place is phenomenal. Throw in wine and mixed drinks as well plus gluten free options. My group of 7 thoroughly enjoyed both types of wings - dry and wet. We had a variety of their pizzas and they did not dissapoint. The crust was light and crispy and the three pies we ordered were each as good as the other. A solo singer guitar player added to the ambiance. A great meal after a full day in the slopes.
We love Sonora! My husband and I have been here many times. The food is great quality for a great price. I have celiac disease and the servers have always been very knowledgeable about gluten and cross contamination in the kitchen. I have gotten many different items but my favorite is the cochinita pibil. My husband loves the chili verde burrito. But you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!
Great place for gluten free pizza. I've never gotten sick. The staff is hit or miss on their knowledge of GF pizza. But the crust appears to be premade so not much of an issue. I live their recipes
I got sick eating their food , pretty sure they cross contaminant anything thats gluten free, such as toasting gluten free toast in the same toaster as gluten breads, also the short brown hair latina girl had an attitude because they were rushed and busy ?
I saw them using a brand /box of gluten free pie crust that clear states
( may contain egg )yet they claim to be a vegan restaurant, do they even take the time to check labels and ingredients?
Final point I saw them making their homemade nut milk and they DID NOT PROPERLY WASH OUT THE BLENDERS OR MILK MAKER, all they do is a light rinse of 20 seconds or less , which makes me think everything made in those two equipments are at Risks for potentially non rinsed soap- food - or even old fermentation of left behind bits?
I’ve been to Lotus Cafe a handful of times and they always have phenomenal food and coffee. I live 40 miles away, but when I’m in Ogden I make a point to stop in to purchase gluten free donuts. I haven’t had a good donut in 15 years until I gave Lotus Cafe a try. Now I’m hooked! Their sandwiches and coffee are delightful, too. The shop is cute and I enjoy seeing the locally handmade items for sale.

With celiac, it's hard to find a place to eat where I don't get sick. This location is great, and the workers never complain or seem annoyed when I ask for gluten free. Other locations don't come close when it comes to the service you get here.
I try to eat whole food, plant based. I was excited to try Brixton's! I got a "Veggie" and asked the guy to hold the white sauce and cheese. (He wasn't sure what was in the sauce, and I assume it's dairy.) I also added onions and cilantro, and was super glad I did. The additions carried the flavor for me. It would be so easy to develop a vegan bean option (white, black, or charro) and a mushroom gravy. If I could have designed any potato here, it would have been streamed collards, veggies, white bean with mushroom sauce, with onions on top. Until then, I'll eat this and dream.
Pros: Naturally gluten free, Naturally whole food base, Fresh ingredients
Cons: Limited vegan options, Staff didn't know ingredients
I love the food and this store is great! This location is always busy, but the workers are super friendly and professional, getting you your food fast, and always getting me the correct order. They are awesome making their grilled nuggets and fries gluten free for my wife (she has celiac's disease).
I love this place!
listen, I have food allergies to wheat that means i can almost never go out to eat anywhere.
this place however gives a LOT of care into people like me and thats why I always have a lot of trust eating here.
more food places need more gluten free options and care for those with allergies. thank you guys so much.
Delicious food and a relaxing atmosphere. Alex the owner was so funny and inviting. I just wish they would learn to make their Alfredo sauce gluten-free and have at least one gluten-free dessert option. The gluten-free pasta was cooked to perfection!
This was our first time eating at Tona and it will not be our last. The atmosphere and ambience were very warm and welcoming. Our waitress was very kind and knowledgeable about the Gluten Free options. They did have a dedicated Gluten Free menu and they even brought me gluten free soy sauce! The food was delicious and worth every penny. We will be back soon!
So glad this restaurant in the little Ogden Airport is still around despite the changes in airline availability (they moved from off-25th Street a few years ago). Love to see that it's become a local restaurant out here, not just an airport restaurant. It's accessible prior to airport security.
They have delicious dishes with good dietary options. I ordered the Herb Egg Spinach Tomato Sandwich with gluten-free bread. The flavors were fantastic, and it came out piping hot. I was also able to get green tea, which is nice for us non-coffee drinkers.
My partner ordered the Breakfast Burrito which came with three sauces on the side: salsa, guacamole, sour cream. He said it was tasty and filling, and he also enjoyed their coffee.
I noticed a couple vegetarian lunch options with hummus, and a few things with cheese but no meat. They have French toast, bagel, or yogurt breakfast options with no meat/eggs. And several breakfast items and lunch salads with no bread. Nothing specifically marked vegan.
The atmosphere is cute and modern due to their renovation a couple (?) years ago, and you can also get menu items or snacks to go for your airplane flight.
Service is friendly and it wasn't too busy on this Sunday morning. Happy we came back again to try something new and different!
We love Stella’s! Making a reservation is so easy, they have tons of gluten free options which I appreciate and it’s so tasty! We’ve loved everything we’ve ordered!
Been here several times. Food is always good. My daughter has a wheat allergy and they have good gluten-free options. And they work with. For example, sometimes she asks for the Philly sandwich with no bun and over the fries. So good. Go early to avoid crowds. Bar staff is great and the rotating specials are always worth a try.
My recent dining experience at this restaurant was rather disappointing. Several aspects of the visit left me dissatisfied and frustrated. Firstly, the wait time was excessively long, testing my patience right from the beginning.
Moreover, when I informed the waiter about my dietary restriction and specifically requested a gluten-free dish, I encountered a significant problem. Despite her initial indication of which dishes could be prepared gluten-free, the dish I ordered turned out to contain gluten. This oversight demonstrated a lack of attentiveness and care.
To make matters worse, when I pointed out the mistake and mentioned that I had ordered gluten-free due to having celiac disease, the waiter denied any recollection of my request. This lack of acknowledgement and responsibility added to the already frustrating experience.
As a result of their error, I had to wait for a new plate to be prepared while others at my table began eating their meals. This delay made me feel left out and emphasized the disregard shown towards my needs as a customer.
The quality of the food itself was average, neither impressive nor memorable. While it didn’t add to the disappointment, it certainly failed to compensate for the other shortcomings of the visit.
Given my experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone with dietary restrictions, especially those who require gluten-free options. The lack of attention to detail, dismissive attitude, and the potential risk of an adverse reaction to gluten make this establishment an unsuitable choice for individuals with specific dietary needs.
My husband and I are Gluten Free, so we thought we'd give them a try. The Patrami burger on gluten free bun was to die for. Hats off to them for producing something that tastes great and is gluten free.
Ping always ensures my order is free from my allergens ! She's got a sweet vibe♡
She is willing to work with gluten-free requests as well ♡
The restaurant itself could use a lil spring cleaning to get dust from the ceiling.
Other than that it's a beautiful space , with good vibes & yummy reasonably priced sushi ♡
Love the gluten-free garlic edmanae
They have Gluten Free, so we made sure to ask multiple times no rice. Get home and of course they're rice. Had to throw $30 of food away. Very disappointed.
This place is a number 1 spot in my book breakfast was fantastic and they catered to everybody in my groups needs. Vegan, egg free, gluten free, and meat eaters. Definitely coming back
We love eating at Longhorn!
The staff is always friendly, the restaurant is clean, and the food is always delicious.
I have celiac disease and the staff is always kind when I have to make special requests.
The GM Dottie runs an efficient restaurant and the employees always say kind things about her.
We will be back again soon!
Priced affordable and staff normally prepares food gluten-free. Wash hand and chane utilities. Everything they have is gluten-free accept the burritos. I am celiac I have had a cross contamination 3 maybe 4 times out of hundreds of orders. My journey to eat out since being diagnosed as celiac has been miserable. This is one of the rare treats I have left.
I have eaten food from here so many times but this was the first time I’ve eaten inside of the restaurant. Let me tell ya… B-E-A-UTIFUL. The food was immaculate and they had lots of gluten free options!!!! The man who served us must have had some sort of TELEPATHIC POWERS because anytime we even thought about needing anything he came right around the corner and offered us exactly what we needed. 2,000,000 out of 10 would go again and again. I love them xoxoxoxxo
This restaurant is a whole vibe, the plants , the atmosphere, even the music they had going was a vibe ♡ The walls were so shiny & clean, you could tell the place is well cared for because there legit isn't even a spec of dust, the air vents & chandeliers were so shiny and dust free
( which is a total rare I see for most all restaurants)
My favorite is that Wing Wah is able to make vegan and gluten free foods - jus ensure you ask & double remind ♡
The vegan veggie gf fried rice with tofu! So tasty - my family got non vegan foods & they both loved the order!
Miss Nancy is so kind, professional& she understands true hospitality .
She also is super quality assurance in being willing to work with food allergies and ensure there is no cross containments .
I definitely will be planning our next celebration type dinner here 💎
This place is a little hole in the wall restaurant that I drove by a thousand times, until my kid got an assignment to try some papaya, and we found out about Thai papaya noodles. We got the papaya noodles, some pad Thia, and some rice. The food was awesome, especially the sticky rice! (it was my kids favorite, and they frequently ask about getting "the good rice").
I loved the Pad Thai, and have gone back since to get it again, they are great with Gluten Free option (my wife has Celiac), and the price is decent too!
My favorite spot in Ogden! The food is unique and amazing every time, the staff is always friendly, helpful, and un-rushed. I love the overall vibe of the place, has a very chic, comfy, small-town feel. You really must try the O-Town toast and The Merc herbal tea!
Also, tons of gluten-free options including bakery items! And the gf bread they use is incredible. Just let the staff know of your dietary restrictions and they will take good care of you.
Food was fantastic, everything smelled amazing. They were also really accommodating for gluten free and every sauce they brought to the table mentioned whether it was gluten free or not without asking. It was my husband's favorite meal of our trip and our son haa never eaten ribs so willingly, let alone spicy ribs! Highly recommend!
They have gluten free options although I wish they would figure out how to make the pizzas bigger it's almost like they want all the celiacs people to starve everywhere so stupid!
Loved this charming locally owned restaurant! Beautifully positioned on historic 25th street. The menu is almost entirely gluten free, the server was very knowledgeable and able to help with every question. I am excited to introduce this gem to all my friends!
These guys are awesome. Always nice and happy to help me when I come in. There’s always interesting stuff to try, and they have gluten-free stuff for Celiac disease people like me. I love the location and the cool stuff they retail from local startups - soap, beard oil, etc.
They have a choice of wheat, white and gluten free pitas, various options and my favorite is the Greek, you can choose from various toppings and sauces. It is good but expensive at about 8-9 a pita.
I bought Gluten Free taco’s take out and when I got home, all it was, was a bunch of lettuce and dry chicken and some corn, salsa. Couldn’t even pick it up. Will not be back!!!!!!
