This place is a local gem. Great ambiance. Good Service! Great Food! Gluten free and Vegetarian options. And GOOD coffee, it was strong and satisfying! If you are looking for a local brunch spot near Lincolnton, I highly recommend! Our server, Katie, was efficient, knowledgeable, and quick!

We visited Good Wood Pizzeria tonight and what a treat! My hubby ordered a sausage and mushroom traditional pizza and was very satisfied. My custom pizza was a pesto, mushroom, black olive and artichoke heart masterpiece on a gluten-free crust with parmesan cheese. Oh.My.Stars. I wasn't prepared for the delight my tastebuds would experience. As I am no longer able to eat gluten or tomato products, I appreciate that I have options available here! They even have vegan cheese and meat, should that be a diner's preference. The place was busy, but we didn't wait long for our pies. The young folks there were laser-focused on their jobs, but always happy to chat with customers. I'm so impressed with this little gem in our small town. We plan to return at least once a month.

(Updated 1/4/23) I would like to thank the team there for the wonderful lunch for my children. They were staying with their great aunt and uncle and had a special treat for lunch...a trip to the BBQ King! Our son has a gluten issue and my Aunt brought him a Gluten free bun along. They were so accomodating and made his burger on the bun they brought! It's not often that a restaurant will be kind and allow outside food like this. The kids enjoyed their food and have been talking about it all evening. Thanks for helping them to have a great day with the family!

Good restaurant, great service by the staff and good location. I wish the cheff have gluten free options for each section from the menu, as many are gluten intolerants. Would give better rating but the lack of that essential piece is key.

The food and service is always good. Needs - some gluten-free options and to open at 10:30 vs 11:00.
