I cannot say enough good things about the food or the people working! Everyone was incredibly nice and the FOOD IS EVERYTHING. I have celiacs and finding gluten free food around the lake, let alone GOOD gluten free is nearly impossible. At least I thought until coming here. THE BEST GLUTEN FREE MEAL I HAVE EVER HAD. The fact that I could safely eat a chicken Alfredo, dinner roll, and salad with gluten free croutons, was such a win. This will officially be a must have every time we travel to Chautauqua!!

We dined at your restaurant on July 4th. My son has celiac disease, and we were extremely careful to double and triple check with our server about which menu items would be safe for him. Under her guidance, we eventually ordered the Mahi Bowl and the Mediterranean Salmon. I reminded her multiple times that these dishes had to be completely gluten free, as even trace amounts of gluten can cause significant and lasting harm to someone with celiac disease. At first, the server seemed knowledgeable and reassured us, so we trusted her recommendations. However, when the food arrived, my son—who was very hungry—took a few bites of the salmon dish before discovering that the bottom layer was sitting on a bed of couscous. Couscous contains gluten and is absolutely not safe for someone with celiac disease. When I asked the server about this, she casually explained that only the top portion of the dish was gluten free and the rest of the plate was not. This level of carelessness is completely unacceptable and shows a lack of understanding about the severity of celiac disease. Worse, no formal apology was offered at the time. The situation was brushed off, as if the health consequences were minor. As a result of this mistake, months of healing and dietary diligence for my son may have been undone. We were in a hurry that evening and did not have time to speak with a manager, but we left deeply upset and disappointed by how this was handled. This experience has shaken our trust, and we hope the restaurant will take this matter seriously and address how gluten free requests are communicated and handled in the future to prevent this from happening to others.

Gluten and soy-free diner here. I stumbled across their Google page a few days ago while looking for a restaurant to dine at on a Sunday evening in Mayville. What an unbelievable dining experience! Matt, Morgan and Mike, M3 (cubed)! Matt and Morgan are the hands-on, and Mike is the executive chef. What a team, and what attention to detail. My blushing bride tried their filet mignon and it was melt in your mouth medium rare! She topped it with scallops, and they were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I tried the salmon, and it was moist yet flaky, and the truffle popcorn was tasty. My best friend and his fiancée tried the burger and rigatoni with meatball, and both raved about their dishes. Mike was kind enough to allow my wife to taste test his chocolate and raspberry cake, and she thoroughly enjoyed it! Finally, a big thank you to Richard who was our waiter for the meal. We had several specific dietary/meal preparation needs, and he did not blink an eye. It is hard to believe that they only have been open for 3 weeks. Thus, please do your part and support these local restauranteurs because we will be coming back to the area specifically to dine here.
