This place is amazing! I am gluten free and they have so much to offer! App, pasta (baked ziti!! And more) and pizza! And gluten free cheesecake. And a gluten free roll with the salad!
Plus for the gluten eaters - I was told great cheese sticks and pasta!
Wow. Real Italian. You know when you are at the Italian table and you are so relaxed you just want to stay? That’s how it is. Going gluten free options.
Stopped in for a breakfast sandwich, which was delicious! They have gluten free bread and were friendly and accommodating. Outdoor seating area is lovely and they have a speaker so you can wait for your order outside as well. Will definitely be back 🙂
Amazing brunch place, very cute, and great GF and nut free options. The gluten free pancakes are the best we’ve ever had. The fruit was super fresh and the whipped cream was freshly whipped.
This place is delicious, great drinks, casual communal vibe, and kid friendly. They always have interesting delicious specials and vegan and gluten free options.
It's hard to find a fast food place that has gluten free and dairy free cheeseburgers. It's also very delicious. There isn't a lot of space in the drive thru or parking lot. The staff that work there do a great job and are always friendly. I love their oat milk based milk shakes but they should be gluten free too! Seriously amazing fast food and I highly recommend it. I go every time I visit Kingston
GLUTEN FREE. i have celiac and have been eating here over a year food is great crispy chicken grilled or just beef patties all have been good to me. Fries are always good and also the fountain drinks. Highly recommend!
I go here almost weekly now! 100% every anniversary and birthdays! Lage selection of gluten free and I friendly knowledgeable staff. Excellent food and drinks at a great price! My husband loves their prime rib!
What a wonderful gem! Fantastic broth! Fantastic service! The owner is completely dedicated to her craft and charming!
I have a soy sensitivity and my partner is gluten-free and the staff was very supportive and able to guide us to make choices for ourselves. I genuinely wish that I could have taken a pint of th broth to go, I could have sipped and slurped all night. I can’t wait to go back.
Absolutely delightful place for anyone looking for a quick bite, but especially those with any kind of dietary restriction. I have Celiac disease and a soy allergy, and this spot had a myriad tasty treats to choose from. I have to try the GF fried chicken next time, but the pistachio cookies and orange almond cake are straight up sent from heaven. I cannot wait to return. Also, the Friday staff is super sweet, thanks a ton to both of them for helping me with my order!
The staff has been super nice the couple times I've called to ask about dietary restrictions. They have lots of gluten free and vegan options and the food is really good! The bubble tea is really yummy also. Would recommend.
We had dinner last night at Ship to Shore. What a gem of a restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. Our server, Sheena, was very knowledgeable and helpful. We ordered the Mussels and Brussels to start. They came with bread points or fries for the gluten free. My husband had Garlic Cream Linguini with chopped Romano Chicken. I had the petite filet with fingerling potatoes, charred carrots and a chimichurri sauce. Everything was delicious. We were very pleased. I would recommend Ship to Shore for dinner. We will try their lunch next time.
The food is always delicious. Staff are friendly. Hubby can get gluten free wraps which he really appreciates. One of our favorite places for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
We would like to thank Jessica, our waitress who was fabulous I have celiac disease and she was very knowledgeable and helpful I haven’t had fried calamari in YEARS!
Get classic diner fare, something a little fancy, or try something new, KVD is the place to go!
The pulled pork sandwiches, the birria tacos, French toast (including gluten free!), teriyaki chicken & broccoli rice bowl, steak wedge salad, taco salad, pancakes, waffles are all awesome. There’s Thai chili pork chops and I believe a bulgolgi rice bowl too, you name it. So many homemade goodies here. And all the homemade desserts too, so many cakes and cheesecakes by the slice!
I’ve been coming here about 10 years pretty religiously, it’s a great spot, family friendly, options to make everyone happy (vegetarian, gluten free options for gluten intolerant folks, kids menu, senior friendly, etc). Reasonable prices, good service.
Best diner in the area and a must visit. KVD is a Kingston staple💗
I love La Florentina’s! The new one owners have done a great job maintaining the recipes and quality of the food. My favorites are the Amatriciana pizza, the hummus and pita bread, the salad with the house homemade green salad dressing, and the cheese dip with shrimp. My mom orders the shrimp Alfredo with gluten free pasta. There is also outdoor seating which is very nice. La Florentina is one of my favorite Italian/Mediterranean restaurants!
We love Masa!! Our drinks included a whiskey sour, which was incredible. I'm gluten free, and the chicken shawarma (listed as GF) was deliciously spiced and filling. My husband got a Turkish flatbread, which he loved. We ended with a panna cotta and a Turkish rice pudding, both of which were not too sweet and very flavorful. Our new favorite spot in Kingston!
Amazing!!! Our new favorite place in Kingston. Amazing food, wine, service, vibes. Can’t wait to return. Favorite dishes were the eggs and the gigante beans. Also dog friendly patio and plenty of gluten free options!
Was there for a birthday dinner. A little on the small side for bigger parties, I'd definitely call in advance if you have more than 4 people to be sure they have room. Wine was nice and gluten-free options were available. Cocktails were nice looking, others ordered second rounds...and that's saying to me they were good 👍. Large selection of entrees and apps. Oysters was an app we ordered 😋
In town for a short visit with Friends and this spot was perfect. Since we were traveling with our dog we needed a spot with outdoor seating. The waitress was really nice and even brought our dog some water, and she was super patient with our party. Our group ordered a few items, including some drinks, and everything was good and filling. The atmosphere was really nice. Since it was later in the evening parking was free. The menu had a good selection of Gluten-free items. Chicken wrap, Stuffed Shrimp, Angus burger, pear slaw, fries. All very good.
I love Soy. The owner/chef is a beautiful person and takes great care in her food. It is healthy and very delicious. She can make dishes/salads with Gluten free sauces so ask for it. Call ahead to make reservations. Owner is doing everything herself- be patient, relax and enjoy the lovely garden, view of river out back and drinks while you wait for food. Totally worth it (I come from NYCity just to go to Soy after she moved her restaurant up there).
Fast poke is my favorite new food craze, and First Capital is better than almost every spot I’ve been to in NYC. Lucky to have it all the way up here! The ingredients are fresh and tasty and the staff is lovely, it’s my favorite dinner spot in the area and I come here regularly. Options for gluten-free and vegetarian/vegan diets too!

Great food and great service! Very bright and welcoming space. The staff is friendly and kind. There is something for everyone and has great gluten free bagels and bread.
I really don’t like to post negative reviews but I have to say the burgers I ordered were terrible. Big Daddy and Double Cheeseburger both left us saying “never again”. The fries were ok (slightly soggy from being in a sealed container for delivery) and the onion rings were a silver lining of crispy delight. The buns were gluten free, even though we did not order GF buns. The beef patties themselves were not fresh, definitely pre formed frozen patties, despite the $18.00 price point. The pasta for the Mac and cheese portion was ziti. Ziti. The “crack sauce”? I dunno. I guess some people might like it.
I normally love going to Chipotle, but this one now on 3 separate occasions is more than bad. My first bad experience I got gluten cross reaction when 3 ppl ended up preparing my allergy dish. The second time I had half cooked chicken loaded with grizzle. And just now they were out of beans, salad and steak. Its really sad as I love going to Chipotle and I live in this area and of course I get stuck with the worst Chipotle in the entire country.
Perfect New York style pizza - thin crust, phenomenal taste and the toppings are fantastic. The best regular and gluten free pizza around! I would give Vincenzo's ten stars if I could! Also, very friendly staff.
Attended a reenactment event in Kingston and went here for dinner. We had a great time. It was fantastic. The downside was that there were many reenactors because the food and atmosphere are so nice and fit the revolution period. This led to a very busy kitchen which did an amazing job of keeping up. They were able to provide one of my party with gluten free options and noted her needs, and provided great food for all.
The River Pavilion at Hutton Brickyards has the best views of the Hudson River. We had a great brunch directly beside the river and enjoyed the live music. The burger and wood fired apple pancake were both delicious. They have a gluten free pizza option which was yummy as well. Can’t wait to come back on a Friday or Saturday night for drinks and dinner.
Many years ago, we ate here, and had a really negative experience. My wife has strict diet restrictions (Celiac) , we gave it another go, as other people with her same restrictions mentioned that they are really good with about maintaining a clean kitchen, and no cross contamination. I was extremely hesitant because the first time (about 11 years ago) was bad.
The Original Experience, to keep it short went like this. We arrived, and the wait staff hovered at our table waiting for us to decide on what we were going to have. Food was served, it was really good, but while we were eating the wait staff was RIGHT THERE... still hovering. We were then rushed out of the place, but when we go out onto the side walk, the wait staff we had followed us out asking where their tip was. Never had someone do that to me before, so It was super off putting.
Today's Experience:
I have to say that this visit blew me away. The service was excellent, even though there was a language barrier, the waiter was going through the ingredients he knew were in the different rolls and dishes to help out. When the food came out, my wifes was presented really well (she got several sushi rolls) and mine came out piping hot. (I opted for the Nabe Yaki Udon, which is a big bowl of ramen.)
My ramen was excellent and my wife was very happy and stuffed to the rafters with sushi. We left very happy, very full and I will be sure to visit that place again when we have a sushi craving.
