I’ve tried just about every gluten free pizza in Homer Glen and this is the winner by far!!! It is so hard to find a good gluten free pizza that tastes like the real stuff. Instead of cauliflower they use GF dough which I like much more!!! They pay attention to order details and always deliver on time. 10/10 recommend

Very good restaurant. I had always thought that this place was just a breakfast/lunch place until someone told me otherwise. My wife and I walked in on a Friday without a reservation but they were still able to seat us. The restaurant is very nice, staff very friendly, the menu has a lot of variety and the food was very good. My wife was very excited that a lot of the items could be made Gluten Free. She had a crepe as her main course and one for desert. I had the Sea Bass and it was fresh, prepared well and the presentation was awesome. We will certainly be back. The only minor criticism I have is that the coffee was not very good. My wife and I have gone back a few times and still enjoy the restaurant. Last time I had the Walleye and my wife had the gluten free crepes (still good). Presentation was awesome. We were both looking for a bit more seasoning but still a good meal. And the coffee has improved a lot.

EDIT: no longer have gluten free bread or bagels. I guess I was the only one eating them. bummer. The rest of the review still applies. Still good food. GLUTEN FREE BREAD AND BAGELS. Good diner food at an even better price. I've only had their breakfast to this point, but it was great. This area has gotten several new restaurants as of late, but Homer's cafe is one of few that is worth noting. It is quickly on it's way to becoming my Monday morning spot before work. You aren't going to find gluten free lox anywhere else within a 20-30 minute drive, and it's great here. Additionally the staff and owner could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. The interior is utilitarian, which I can appreciate more than the cheap finishes made in some weird interpretation of design (namely Q on 159th). At any rate, value is a concept lost on many restaurants around here, and it's nice to see places like this and, at the nicer end, Crepe Bistro on Bell come in and give you something worth handing over your money for. Now as long as the Village can stop their insanely hostile and prohibitive business attitude, we may yet see a trend of better options.
