I got the 14” Gluten Free Buffalo Soulja and a regular Caesar salad. The food was great but the cost was excessive. For the pizza and salad, it was $56 with a 20% tip. That’s ridiculous. The young lady at the counter even apologized about it. Not her fault.

I’m generally skeptical when a place indicates they have GF options, especially if it’s a sandwich shop. I was pleasantly surprised when I engaged with Avi, the owner, and recognized that he truly understood the importance of preparation protocols and the challenges celiacs have when eating out. After talking with him, I took the plunge and ordered the most gluten sounding sandwich he offered, gluten free; the Pimento Chicken sandwich (fried chicken tenders, on a GF bun with pimento cheese and caramelized onions) and Cajun fries from the GF fryer. It was, literally, the best GF sandwich I’ve ever had. The pickled veggies were top notch too. They also have a good truck that is a regular on Woodstock’s Truck ‘n Tap rotation. Fellow Celiacs, Avi and Hoagie Bros is legit.

This place is so homey and romantic. It’s a great place to go with friends or on a date. The service is wonderful, our waiter was so kind and accommodating to multiple food allergies in our group. The manager/owner made a point to talk to us and ask how everything was, which I thought was very thoughtful. I find the food to be good, but nothing too special. They have a wide range for vegetarian and gluten free options which can be tough to find at Italian restaurants. Overall, I feel that the restaurant is an excellent choice for a night out, and the food is pretty average tasting.

I found this restaurant on find me gluten free because I was looking for something my mom could eat and enjoy. I ordered the Thai Stir Fry bowl with Salmon. It has Caulirice with a stir fry mix of red cabbage, carrots, broccoli, red peppers + scallions and topped with Sesame Ginger sauce. My mom had the charcuterie board and their pancakes. The food and atmosphere was wonderful and we will definitely be back to sample several other menu items they have.
