Be prepared to wait. The service is not speedy, especially at peak times so do not come expecting a quick in and out. However the food and beverages are very good and worth the wait and lack of seating. There are some chairs and a sofa, but this place is not built for a long hangout with friends or a laptop. You may have to wait for a place to open up, and do not expect to write your novel here. Come for the food (plenty of vegan and gluten free options), the coffee (good, with several dairy free options and all beverages are left unsweetened so you can sweeten to your taste), and the chai (good but only available in a smaller size). Parking can be tight so know you can park in the lot instead of right in front. A nice experience all around, just not for those in a hurry or those who want a coffee house to linger and work.

We had a marvelous experience at Market Place this evening. Fiona, our server, was unflappable and gracious. She and the kitchen dealt with a table of 6 on a busy Saturday evening. Most importantly, though, was how Fiona made sure that all the food was safe for our daughter -- who has multiple food sensitivities. Not only was there a separate, gluten-free deep fryer, but Fiona was uniformly patient and cheerful in double-checking ingredients and making sure our necessary food modifications were handled. Thank you for making a scary, first-time in a restaurant with food-sensitivities experience safe and fun!!

I love Carol Pecks Good News Cafe. We have gone here with our son Joe and his grandma since he was born! The flash fire beef is to die for. Lobster Mac and Cheese with Truffle oil simply scrumptious . In the mood for a good fish dish ? This is your place! Vegan, gluten free and many options ! Monday is the best deal of all. Half price wine and delicious food . Their steak is reported to be fabulous and I am a vegan. John makes fab drinks abd the decor is spectacular!

Beautiful little place. The food was delicious. The service was wonderful. A great place for dinner. The chef has a lot of really amazing gluten free options including fresh baked rolls that are to die for and a GF brownie sundae. I will definitely be going back.

🍕 They have great hours and are quick when you are in a pinch. I wish I had a photo to share but we ate it too quickly to think about it. Maybe next time.. We have ordered from this place in the past and I would say it's a pretty standard pie. Good but not amazing and definitely better when a certain older gentleman is behind the counter. What upped the rating for me was I had a house guest who is gluten free and has been for over 5 years now. She's worked in the industry for 10+ years and has tried gluten free pizza all over the east coast traveling frequently. This was the best gluten free pizza she has ever had! It came as a personal pie she ordered it with mushrooms and pepperoni.
