I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Craft Roots, and it was an absolute revelation! As someone who is mindful of both health and the environment, this vegan restaurant exceeded all expectations. The menu is incredibly thoughtful, offering a wide variety of plant-based dishes that are not only flavorful but packed with nutrition. Whether you're vegan, gluten-free, lactose intolerant, or simply trying to reduce your meat consumption, there's something for everyone here. The restaurant clearly understands that more people are turning to plant-based diets for their health, the environment, and ethical reasons, and they make it easy—and enjoyable—to join that movement. The creativity in the kitchen is evident, from the vibrant salads to hearty mains, and the desserts are simply divine. I enjoyed the Loins Mane Asian-inspired salad that was light and airy and packed with flavor (if you prefer to be light on dressing just ask it on the side for better control). It was really big — after enjoying it I separated leftovers to keep crispy rice things fresh (several pictures attached). My husband loved his “chicken” lions mane burger! Beyond the food, the Craft Roots also highlights the positive impact of a plant-based lifestyle. Knowing that my meal was contributing to better health, lower environmental impact, and a more compassionate world made the experience even more fulfilling. If you’re looking to eat cleaner, live better, and be a part of something larger, I highly recommend checking out the Craft Roots! Whether you're vegan or simply curious about plant-based eating, this place will leave you inspired—and satisfied!

Disappointed with my experience at this location. We came here because they have gluten free buns for my daughter who has celiac. After waiting 10 minutes, they let me know they didn’t have gluten free buns. They couldn’t do a refund because their manager wasn’t there so I had to wait while they called him. I asked them to cancel our order because we needed to go to a different restaurant and they refused. So, now 20 minutes later, we’re leaving with our 2 burgers and driving another 10 minutes to find another gluten free option so my daughter can also eat. I’m upset that they wouldn’t cancel our order and think that they should have.

There is a reason we had a 45 minute wait on a Saturday evening and since we grabbed appetizers and drinks somewhere else, it was worth it! First, we were greeted professionally, and the place is decorated uniquely (wildlife from around the world, but especially bears were represented), and each table had seasonal pumpkin or skeleton hand decorations. Since they didn't have gluten free soups, My husband offered me a bite of their in house made New England Clam Chowder. It was delicious and I wish they'd make it gluten free using cornstarch or arrowroot powder as a thickener instead of flour. They are able to make gluten-free accommodations here! I could have had salad but always prefer to have a hearty meal. The filet here was cooked to perfection, and I appreciated my server obviously having knowledge of the menu but still double checking with the cook staff to ensure what options they had to offer me. Not being able to eat gluten is a pain, but they made it so much better! The creamed spinach was rich and decadent so I had a little (asparagus was a healthier option I didn't choose), and the roasted potatoes and peppers were delicious! We had such a wonderful meal we unfortunately didn't have room for dessert! I was planning to try their flourless chocolate cake but was unable. But I will still very pleased it was offered! It was the best meal I'd had in awhile!
